Reverend Collins is an ordained minister in both the Presbyterian Church (USA) and United Church of Christ, and an associate speaker at the Free Congregation. For many years he served the congregation of the Mazomanie United Church of Christ, where John's grandfather was an active member. In addition, for over 30 years, Larry and his wife Janice Jones host an annual jazz concert at their home on the Wisconsin River. An enthusiastic pianist, Larry is part of the tradition of giving a piano beyond saving "a dignified sendoff" by burning it, with Larry playing fire-related songs on the flaming piano, as the culmination of the former Roxbury Tavern's summer solstice celebration. Christopher Allen

We are so pleased to have Chris play for us! Christopher Allen earned both his Bachelors and Masters degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with the Doctorate of Musical Arts in classical guitar performance with a minor in jazz studies. He is currently teaching at Madison College, the Madison Academy of Music, the Monroe Street Fine Arts Center as well as performing solo and chamber recitals.
