We're tying the knot!

We both have our best friends Cathy and Steve, who are a part of our wedding party, that brought us together to form an amazing friendship group AKA "The Out Crew". All four of us (Briana and Dan being the 3rd and 4th wheel), would have such fun together for years. From nights out in Morristown, to weekend day activities and events, we have been a great and fun friend group! Danny always enjoyed hanging around Briana, probably more than what she did!! After those two friends tied their knot, Briana decided to give Danny a shot, and we have been together as a couple ever since! We love our 4 year friendship story that grew into 3 years dating, and a 1 year engagement! We'll be, collectively 8 years later, tying the knot!

Danny had been searching for a home for a while. He was finally able to establish himself in his home grown roots of Boonton NJ. Dan was known to not want to leave his "Boonton bubble", and was lucky enough to purchase his grandparent's family home. Briana officially moved in about a year later, and they have been growing in their first home together since! They also work together in the Montville School District, which is the town right next to Boonton! Danny is a math and physics teacher at the high school, and Briana is the special education Speech Language Pathologist in one of the elementary schools. Needless to say, they are happy to have the same work calendars, work with some of the same colleagues, and have a very short commute!!

Danny started ring shopping in spring 2023. With the help of his brother Brian, and Bri's precise ring style choices, he made the big purchase! He began deciding when to pop the question. With more help from family and his sister in law Michaela, they created a beautiful proposal scene at Silas Conduct Park. Danny convinced Bri to join him for a "BBQ at the park", but made a pit stop by a walking trail at Silas. He walked Bri until a rose petal trial was seen, and a sign that read "Walk Our Story" was placed on a tree along with more pictures of the two of them through the years. At the end of their rose petal walk, was a beautiful proposal display! Danny said wonderful and loving words to Bri including the question before popping the big question, "What do you always tell me to do when I say I love you?" and Bri laughed and said, "Prove it!" Danny got down on one knee and proposed. Afterwards was our surprise engagement party where we celebrated with our friends and family. The best day ever... so far! June 3rd, 2023.
