Looking to cross another National Park off your bucket list? Turns out you will be surrounded by America's newest one: New River Gorge National Park! Feel free to visit the visitor center to have better views of the New River and learn more about the history of how the park came to be!
Adventures on the Gorge
Looking to get your adventure on without having to leave the resort? Look no further, Adventures on the Gorge has an abundance of activities that you can sign up for while visiting! Activities include white water rafting (we'd highly recommend that you rent a wet suit), zip lining, ropes courses and many more. If interested, please follow the link listed where you will find a description of each available activity along with the opportunity to sign up. Jess & Chris highly recommend white water rafting (weather permitting), the Treetop Canopy Zipline Tour or the Gravity Zipline.
Hiking and Exploring New River Gorge National Park
For anyone looking to enjoy the cooler weather and potentially see some beautiful Fall Foliage, New River Gorge has quite a few scenic hikes to offer! Jess & Chris would personally recommend the Endless Wall Trail which shows a stunning view of the New River. Adventures on the Gorge additionally offers some scenic overlooks onsite that are easily accessible. For anyone looking to stretch their legs after the long car ride and get in touch with nature, we recommend that you follow the link to All Trails for some popular recommednations!
Local Foodie Tour
While there will be at least one restaurant that will be open onsite (Chetty's Pub) for any guests who would like to explore the local eats, please refer to Trip Advisor for some recommendations. Jess & Chris can personally suggest Pies & Pints as well as the Burrito Bar at Breeze Hill as being great options, but Fayetteville has quite a few dining options to offer.
