Question

What's the deal with the Cabins?

Answer

While no one is required to stay at the camp, we encourage everyone to, so that you'll get the most out of the weekend! Everyone is welcome to stay Saturday night and Sunday night. While there is no A/C or heat, each cabin does have electricity, windows with screens & multiple private bathrooms. Please see the Lodging page under "Staying at Camp Palmer (Robindel)" for the link on how to sign up for the cabins. The cabins sleep up to 10+ people but we will try not to bunk you with that many. Cabins will be assigned into friend/family groups…there are numerous bunking arrangement so we can ensure everyone will be happy and comfy!

Question

How can I reserve my spot in the Cabins?

Answer

You made the right choice. To lock in your bunk, fill out the Jotform (link in the Lodging page under “Staying At Camp Palmer”). Once you've submitted the Jotform, please be on the lookout for a Venmo from @CampRobindel or check alternative payment options available on the Lodging page and indicate preference on the Jotform.

Question

Can I come to the campground for brunch/lunch if I'm not joining as an overnight camper?

Answer

Of course! We would love for our guests to come and enjoy the property with us. However, the camp does charge for use of their facilities/food and we need to know in advance in order to have enough food to go around! Please see the Lodging page and let us know in the Jotform that you would like to purchase meal tickets (Venmo or Zelle) for you/your group for the non-wedding related meals. These meals include: welcome lunch, welcome dinner, wedding day breakfast, wedding day lunch, & farewell brunch! Thank you in advance from the couple and the campground!

Question

What do I need to bring if I am staying at the camp for the weekend?

Answer

We are so excited to have you as a camper! Consider this a guide and not absolute nor exhaustive: - We encourage everyone to bring extra comforters or sleeping bags to stay warm at night!!!! - Clothing (wedding outfits, daytime clothing, PJs, and layers) - Bathing suits and beach towels - Sunscreen and bug spray - If you have a favorite outdoor game, we are more than happy for you to bring them (Corn hole, Kan Jam, spikeball...etc.) The camp provides all sports equipment (paddles, rackets, balls, etc)! Important extras: - Beach accessories (towels, chairs, umbrella if you want shade) - Earplugs / eye mask (in case the rowdy night goes late!)

Question

BYOB...?

Answer

Everyone staying at the camp is welcome to bring your own booze for the weekend! We will be providing drinks and alcohol during all wedding-related festivities, but if you are looking to drink at other times throughout the weekend (think: floating on the lake with a beer), you are welcome to BYOB! Refrigerators are located in the main lodge.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! As our venue is quite literally designed for kids we would love for them to join us for a fun weekend! However, we’ve chosen to keep our ceremony and reception in the hall an adult only event. We can work together with the campground to hire a suitable sitter/counselor to keep them company during that time. Email mitchelliepalmer@gmail.com and we can come up with a plan.
