Olympic National Park
Just an hour west of seattle, check out the northwest coastline and the western hemispheres largest temperate rainforest! The park houses three separate ecosystems; the coast, the rainforest, and the Olympic mountains. Drive the 101 loop and experience them all! Voted Joe's Favorite National Park P.S. Don't forget your rain coat!
Seattle
Take a ferry boat to one of Seattle’s islands, catch a buzz off of some of the best coffee the city has to offer, or stop by the Pike Place market to see some flying fish and the original starbucks location!
North Cascades National Park
Driving from Seattle to the Rolling Huts you will drive through the Northern Cascades National Park, Home of the most glaciers in the contiguous US! Defined by its dramatic sea of mountain peaks and turquoise bodies of glistening glacial lakes, the Northern Cascades have been called the American Swiss Alps. Winthrop
From hiking and biking to farmers markets and hot air balloons. There is plenty to do in this old western town while you are here. With a main street filled with shops, bars, and restaurants to a plethora of outdoor activities, we can guarantee a one of a kind experience here in Winthrop. Mazama Store
Check out the Mazama General Store in Mazama Village. Filled with local artisan goods, fresh coffee, local wines, and fresh made sandwiches. Shop the outdoor stores or stroll around the trail grounds
Three Fingered Jack’s Saloon
Slip into the Wild Wild West at the oldest functioning Saloon in Washington State. This restaurant has booths for family friendly seating and bar section with pool tables for 21+.
Old Schoolhouse Brewery
Offering local microbrews, pub food, and occasional cowboy poetry, the Old Schoolhouse Brewery is a great spot to meet up with friends

Our recommendation for a late night spot offering the best creative cocktails and small plates made from seasonal local ingredients. With an upscale vibe, you'll forget you are in the middle of the woods.

This local family-owned cidery offers artisanal ciders that sell out quickly based on demand! Their new tasting room is a great place to meet up with friends for a bite or a beverage.
Lost River Winery
This is a must-see spot for wine lovers. Offering a complimentary wine tasting, this boutique family-owned winery has taken extraordinary strides to GoGreen while making their wine unique and delicious. Be sure to spread some love to the winery dogs wandering around the property.
Hiking
Get out on the trails! From a 0.2 mile loop trail to a 31 mile out-and-back, AllTrails is a great place to find the right hike for you. Rated easy, moderate or hard - make sure to read reviews, check elevation gain and total mileage before setting out on your trip. Pack plenty of water, a map, and have a hiking buddy to be safe!
