Leaves and Lights

Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us on 8/29/2026!

Allison Berman

Maid of Honor

How we met: The lore goes that Allison and Eliza met during the first few weeks of Bates College in a van going to Goodwill during Orientation Week. We were presumably off to find outfits for the iconic kick off dance of the year, ‘80s dance. That initial meeting was the stepping stone to launching a friendship that was strengthened weekly on the Ultimate Frisbee field. We connected over learning to throw a disc, a love of all things silly, and our deep Philadelphia/ Pittsburgh rivalry. I met Eliza for the first time on the stairs of the Met (very Gossip Girl of us) during summer 2022. At first, I tried to sabotage Eliza and Tabitha's budding relationship by eating a chocolate chip cookie off of the table when they were on one of their first dates, but then Eliza just kept on coming over and cuddling with me, and I learned that having two moms is better than one - so we are now a little family!
