Wedding Party

Please meet the friends and family who will stand beside us on our special day

Madelin Camp

Maid of Honor

Madelin (Maddie) is the oldest of Erin’s two built-in best friends (even though they wouldn’t always admit how much they loved each other growing up). The Camp girls have always done everything together (Erin and Maddie even went to college together) so, Erin couldn’t imagine getting married without having both of them standing next to her on her wedding day as her maids of honor. Maddie is 3 years younger than Erin and Erin doesn’t remember life without her or what she would do without her. Maddie will always be the first person Erin calls when she needs an honest opinion and her favorite person to road trip with while singing as loud as they can to their favorite songs.

Caroline Camp

Maid of Honor

Caroline is the youngest of her two built-in best friends. The Camp girls have always done everything together so, Erin couldn’t imagine getting married without having both of them standing next to her on her wedding day as her maids of honor. Caroline is 7 years younger than Erin and although their age gap is too big for them to have gone to the same school, Erin is grateful that Caroline has chosen two fun cities to go to school in so she can make up lots of excuses to go “visit” (read: bother) her. Even though there’s a pretty big age gap between them, you’ll always find them giggling in the back row/seat of whatever they’re doing together. Caroline and Erin love just being together, so hopefully Caroline’s next stop is a little closer to San Antonio.

Emily Droder

Bridesmaid

Emily and Erin have known each other since they were in first grade at St. Gregory’s Elementary School in Tyler, Texas. They became friends after discovering that they had both conned their parents into getting the exact same overpriced fairy tale book. Their friendship grew over the years as they took pride in sharing each other’s nerdiest interests - constantly swapping book, podcast and music recommendations. Today, they’re more like sisters, especially since their families like to travel together and spend most holidays together.

Abby Hubley

Bridesmaid

Abby and Erin have been friends since they were in Kindergarten at St. Gregory’s Elementary School in Tyler, Texas. Erin genuinely does not remember how or when they became friends, they just always have been. Abby was always the first one at Erin’s house if Erin had to stay home sick, bringing the biggest Ocean Water from Sonic that she could find. Even when Abby transferred to public school for high school, they were inseparable and spent most weekends (that Abby wasn’t away playing soccer) together. Most of Erin’s childhood/adolescent memories include Abby, from crashing Hubley family vacations (sorry, Mer, Debby and Jim) to making sure that every trip Erin took in college & law school included an extra night in DFW so Erin could spend one night with Abby before leaving.

Liz Morley

Bridesmaid

Liz and Erin have known each other since elementary school at St. Gregory’s but didn’t really become friends until high school at Bishop T.K. Gorman in Tyler, Texas. Liz and Erin had every class together in high school and, for some reason that neither of them can quite remember, they decided that it would be fun to interview for part time jobs Stepbrothers style (i.e., going in together and interviewing as a “package deal”). To their surprise and their parents’ horror, they were hired by the new Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant down the street from Erin’s parents’ house. Liz and Erin then proceeded to live together their entire senior year of high school and much of the summer before they separated for college. Since that time, Liz and Erin have been sisters and lifelong friends.

Amanda Beekes

Bridesmaid

Amanda and Erin have been friends from the moment they met freshman year of college and over the years, Erin and Amanda have studied together, partied together, traveled together, and binged watched many a true crime documentary together. No matter what was going on in the other’s life, they have always been there for each other, to make each other laugh and remind the other that nothing is ever “that bad.” Erin could write a novel about the adventures they’ve had together and all the times when she was having a bad day and, like clockwork, would hear a knock on her door and Amanda’s signature raspy voice asking “you wanna play?”

Mariana Becerra

Bridesmaid

Mariana and Erin met when Mariana transferred to Trinity their junior year of college. Mariana was rushing Erin’s sorority and they quickly became friends, inseparable from the start. After college, Mariana and Erin’s friendship grew even stronger, as they stayed in touch and talked to each other almost daily via gchat while Erin was in law school and Mariana was working her first big girl job in Mexico City. Although never living in close proximity again after college, Mariana and Erin have found ways to meet up and spend time together – whether it was in New York, Mexico, Thailand, or Canada. Being able to travel together takes a certain kind of bond and Erin couldn’t imagine a better friend to have gotten to travel with.

Wendy Hernandez

Bridesmaid

Wendy and Erin met the first day of pledging for their sorority and it didn’t take long for them to realize how much in common they had and to become extremely close friends as a result. Even when Wendy had graduated and moved to Austin, they would find a way to see each other almost every weekend – even if it was Wendy driving down just to take Erin’s dog Taco on a run. These days Erin and Wendy try to meet up as much as possible since they’re only about an hour’s drive down I-35 from each other.

Hyewon Kim

Bridesmaid

Hye-won and Erin’s friendship is an example that sometimes, on very rare occasion, your freshman college roommate is someone you actually like. Hye-won and Erin were best friends from the first day they moved in together and they remained roommates for the remainder of college. Hye-won and Erin had classes together every semester and were in the same sorority--they spent most waking (and sleeping) moments together and were essentially extensions of each other. Hye-won was the first person Erin visited as soon as she completed the Bar Exam and now, Hye-won is a major part of another milestone in Erin’s life, her wedding, even though she lives on the other side of the world.

Van Moreland

Best Man

Kevin and Van both grew up in the north side of San Antonio but did not meet until their senior year of college at UT. They were two ships passing in the dark until December of that year, realizing they had even taken the same History of Rock section together. They became fast friends, roommates in their respective grad school programs and best man in each others weddings.

Carlos Perez

Best Man

Kevin and Carlos went to Clark High School together but weren’t friends until Carlos saw Kevin walking back to his freshman year dorm in Austin and offered to give him a ride. Although Carlos went to Tulane, the two kept in touch and became extremely close and have been to this day

Jerry Flores

Groomsman

Jerry and Kevin have been friends since their high schools days. Ever since they found out they were basically neighbors, they each became an honorary member of each others' family. They both went to UT together and were roommates. Although they joined separate fraternities,

Adam Furman

Groomsman

When Kevin was in dental school, he received a call from his friend Aaron Kobren telling him that Aaron's childhood friend would be going to dental school and might text him asking him a few questions. Kevin said 'no problem' on the phone, rolling his eyes as he hung up,' thinking *he better not expect me to be friends with this nerd.* After Adam moved next door and paid for several PPV events and subscribed to NFL Redzone, Kevin realized maybe they should be friends after all.

Jonathan Gonzales

Groomsman

Jonathan and Kevin went to Clark HS together. Kevin was always jealous of Jonny’s stunning good looks and incredibly jacked physique. When Jonathan invited him to his party, they became good friends and still talk on the phone sometimes.

Aaron Kobren

Groomsman

Kevin met Aaron when pledging Sammy, a Jewish fraternity (reminder: Kevin is not Jewish) and were both in Silver Spurs. After Aaron accidentally cut himself at Bevo's ranch, Kevin told Aaron the cut looked fine and he would not need to go to the hospital. Several stitches later, Kevin admitted he probably wasn't the one to ask for advice. After graduation, the two became even better friends, with the pair visiting each other several times (Kevin even went to Aaron's yearly Festival of Butts Valentine's Day party in San Francisco).

Colton Krueger

Groomsman

Colton and Kevin went to high school together, but did not really know each other until they shared European History together. Colton, all jacked up on exogenous hormonal treatments, would disrupt the [blowoff] class daily, earning Kevin's complete respect. The two went on to write the talent show sketches together and just as quickly as their friendship formed, they went to college and never spoke to each other, until post-grad when Colton lived in San Antonio briefly. It was during this time, Kevin won a contest taking them to see game 2 of the NBA Finals together in Miami. After Colton left, the two stayed in better touch....obviously.

Zach Rabinovitz

Groomsman

Kevin met Zach through Jerry in college but it wasn't until post grad when Kevin and Zach truly hit it off. Kevin would visit Zach in Austin for shows and coffee at least once a month until Zach tapped out and moved to NYC. Kevin is hoping Zach moves back to Austin soon.

Josh Tillis

Groomsman / Officiant

Josh and Kevin met while cleaning the absolute smelliest room in the fraternity house when they started to chat about a movie that probably only Josh and Kevin even remembered (the movie was called Monkey Trouble if you are curious). They would later have several classes together, in which they would take turns trying to outdo each other in making impressions of their professors. Josh will be performing the ceremony, so let's all hope he doesn't screw it up

For all the days along the way
