Erin and Kevin met on a dating app called Bumble. Erin liked that he had a picture next to a Topo Chico mural and Kevin liked that an actual human female was talking to him (it helped she is gorgeous). They decided to go out on their first date to a crawfish boil, but they showed up after they had finished serving all of the crawfish and decided to go to other bars and restaurants along the St. Mary's Strip, where they felt a magical connection. Kevin later made Erin mad (they have differing stories on what happened) so there was a month where they did not speak and Kevin was referred to as D-Bag dentist. After seeing each other in public again, they decided to forget what caused them to stop talking in the first place (Erin didn't and never will) and rekindled their flame... just before Kevin had to move to Laredo, TX for his residency program. They decided to date long distance and surprisingly they were just as in love by the end of the two years as they were at the start. When Kevin moved back to his hometown of San Antonio, the two (five if you include the dogs) decided to move in together in the house that Erin owns, effectively making Erin Kevin's "very sexy landlord." After a few international trips, several music festivals, and a million weddings, Kevin decided he could not see his life going on without Erin. Erin's youngest sister, Caroline, was about to graduate from Tulane (a perfect time to pop the question in front of family), so Kevin asked Caroline for permission to propose before he asked Erin's parents. At the tail end of Caroline's "second line" parade in New Orleans, Kevin got down on one knee and asked Erin to marry him.
