Update re: COVID precautions: Our ceremony will occur entirely outside and the reception will take place in a large barn with plenty of ventilation and outdoor seating options available. We will not be policing masks or vaccination status, although both are encouraged!

Directions to the Venue

Please call any of the following people on the day of the ceremony if you are having any trouble. Sarah and Campbell will be busy getting ready! Steve Powell (venue owner) (828) 284-3668 Maryana Newton (252) 292-8225 Paula Woods (518) 332-6361 Rae Carroll (248) 877-2796 1. 40 Black Bear Drive Mars Hill NC 28754 is the physical address to our event/wedding barn at the bottom of the hill on black bear drive. It is the GPS address you will want to use to get to base of the mountain 2. I-26W merges into I-240 East in Asheville. 3. From I-240 East take US-23 N/US-19 N via EXIT 4A on the left toward I-26/UNC Asheville/Woodfin/Weaverville. (this basically turns back into I-26W again. 4. Take Exit 3 Wolf Laurel. (3 miles before Tennessee) 5. At the end of the exit ramp, make a right onto Bear Branch Road. 6. At the next stop sign, make a right onto I-23. 7. You will pass an BP on the left. It is also the only "store" on the mountain. 8. Take the 1st left, Laurel Valley Road. There is a big Ski the Wolf sign there. When in doubt, follow the ski signs. 9. Take the first left onto Puncheon Fork Road, also known as Wolf Laurel Road on some GPS. Go 2.3. You will pass a fire station on the right, marking the half-way point. Ski rental place is on left you are almost at Black bear rd. 10. Make a left onto Black Bear Drive, follow around the pond to the large barn, beyond which is a gravel parking lot where you can park for both the ceremony and the reception. IF you pass a BIG BARN on the left that says ANTIQUES on the front, or if you pass the Wolf ridges skis slope turn off you have gone too far. We are 2.3 mile up Puncheon Fork road. Black bear road has road sign and it on the left.
