We will have a shuttle to the venue at 4:00 PM, with rotating shuttles returning from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Pickup and drop-off will be at Hôtel Hébé (5 Avenue d'Alery, 74000 Annecy).

Tipping is not required in France. However, if you receive excellent service, don't hesitate to leave a few Euros as a tip! It's always appreciated.

Geneva and Annecy are both popular destinations, so most, if not all, people will be able to speak English. If you'd like to politely request to speak in English, greet people with "Bonjour-Hello!" (Bonsoir-Hello after 5 PM) or ask "En Anglais sil-vous-plait." Bonus points for parting with "Au revoir, bonne journée!"

Make sure to bring reusable bags for your trips to the supermarché, or you can purchase some at checkout! No single-use bags are provided. Grocery carts can be "borrowed" with a 50-centime or 1-euro coin, which is refunded when returned. There are also smaller pull-carts on wheels, which are free to use.
