To travel from Paris to Annecy, we recommend taking the train for its speed and convenience. Direct trains depart from Paris Gare de Lyon multiple times a day, with fares starting at 60 euros. When booking, opt for a direct train from Gare de Lyon for a journey of less than 4 hours to reach Annecy.

The Geneva International Airport, located approximately 30 miles (50km) from Annecy city center, is the closest airport to the wedding venue. We recommend considering flights to this airport for the most direct journey.

Annecy is a 45-minute drive from Geneva Airport. If you don't drive a manual car, please ensure to reserve an automatic car. Although all rentals should include a toll pass (vignette) and allow cross-border travel, please verify this with your rental provider.

SNCF- Geneva to Annecy

Swiss Railways (SBB) operates a direct line from Geneva Airport to Geneva's central train station (Geneva Cornavin station), with the journey taking approximately 7 minutes and frequent departures. From there, daily direct trains to Annecy Train Station (Gare d'Annecy) are available. These direct train trips last 1 hour and 30 minutes and cost around 30 euros.
