Sand Harbor
Famous for its gorgeous large boulders and sandy beach, Sand Harbor is one of Tahoe's most popular spots - get there early!
Emerald Bay State Park
If you have seen pictures of Lake Tahoe, there's a good chance that the photos are of Emerald Bay and Fanette Island. It's a short walk down to the State Park where you can walk the grounds of Vikingsholm and get a view of Fanette Island as well as access the 2 mi hike to Eagle Falls. Parking is limited, so also worth getting there early!

Mountain Biking
The Lake Tahoe Basin is known for some of the best mountain biking in the Sierras. With trails for all abilities and ages mountain biking is a great way to tour the area. For the family, including young kids, the bike path around Tahoe City offers beautiful views, a great way to spend an afternoon and even spots to cool off in the Truckee River. For riders that are a little more adventurous there some beautiful, fully maintained single track trails all around the area that will take you deep into the woods behind Tahoe City for as many miles as you want to ride. And for advanced riders that really want to push the envelope of the most adrenaline pumping riding in the area, NorthStar has an incredible downhill mountain biking park, complete with gap jumps, built features and chairlift rides up. Tahoe Treetop Adventure Parks
Located behind Granlibakken Resort, the Treetop Park offers 97 tree platforms, 27 zip lines and 60 bridges/events within a secluded forest with large pine trees and old growth cedars.

Sunday Concert at Commons Beach
Free concert series is held at Commons Beach on Sundays from 4pm-7pm. Commons is a 1.5 mile walk or short drive from Granlibakken.
Tuesday Blues in the Village at Palisades Tahoe
The Village welcomes the return of Bluesdays, Tahoe's must-see summer music series. This free outdoor concert series features top blues musicians every Tuesday in the summer. Event Details Time: 6:00pm-8:30pm Location: Events Plaza @ Palisades Tahoe
Wednesdays Music in the Park in Truckee
Walk down for the parking lot past the tennis courts into the amphitheater. Bring a chair/blanket to sit on! Music in the Park, a community gathering with great music, every Wednesday from June - August from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Truckee Regional "Salty" Gebhardt Amphitheater.
