Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Cameron Long and Drew Powell
While we may be New Yorkers at the moment, we are country-mice at heart! Litchfield County has so much to offer and the fall is the best time of year to visit. We highly recommend you make a trip out of your visit to see the leaves, enjoy the small town charm, and live the Rory Gilmore life!
White Memorial Conservation Center

White Memorial Conservation Center

80 Whitehall Road, Litchfield, CT 06759

With over 40 miles of hiking and walking trails, White Memorial is one of our favorite places in all of Connecticut. Whether it's a calm walk on the boardwalk, the stunning views at the top of Apple Hill, or Cam's personal favorite, a visit with the rescued barred owls, "Shakespeare" and "Ophelia," White Memorial is the perfect place to soak in the serenity that the Litchfield Hills have to offer. Fun fact: Cam and Drew took their engagement announcement photos here!

Toast &. Co.

Toast &. Co.

18 Commons Drive, Litchfield, CT 06759

Toast & Co. is one of our favorite places to grab breakfast and a yummy latte in Litchfield. With delicious iced and hot coffee options, fruity smoothie bowls, tasty breakfast sandwiches, and their famous toast, there's something for everyone. Fun fact: Cameron worked here in the summer of 2022!

Arethusa Farm Dairy

Arethusa Farm Dairy

822 Bantam Road, Litchfield, CT 06750

The BEST ice cream in Connecticut! Using the fresh milk from their dairy farm right down the road, Arethusa has the freshest ice cream you can find. We also highly recommend their cafe across the street for some pastries, or an afternoon pick-me-up! Pro Tip: you can order two flavors in one scoop...and the scoops are HUGE! Oh, and don't skimp out on the waffle cone.

The Taft School

The Taft School

110 Woodbury Road, Watertown, CT 06795

See where it all began! We met at The Taft School in Watertown, CT, about 20 minutes from where we'll be getting married. The campus is open, so feel free to take a stroll around. Bonus points if you can find both of our names on the brick pathway near Potter's Pond!

Marty's Cafe

Marty's Cafe

4 Green Hill Road, Washington, CT 06794

Looking for Luke's Diner? Well, for any Gilmore Girl's fans, Marty's Cafe is as close as you're going to get. Located around 30 seconds from where we'll be getting married, Marty's is right in the heart of Washington, which is the town that inspired "Stars Hollow." For the true Rory Gilmore experience, check out the Hickory Stick Bookshop, The Mayflower Inn, and the gazebo on the New Milford town green.
