Due to the pandemic, we had to make some difficult decisions resulting in changes to our wedding plans. We will still be married this summer elopement style, at the proper social distance. Join us in 2022 for one heck of an Irish party where we will renew our vows and make up for this time apart! 🍀
We will be rescheduling our stateside celebration of marriage as soon as Covid restrictions are lifted as we want everyone we love to be there and be safe. Separate invitations will be sent for the stateside reception 🇮🇪💚
For our ceremony, we are asking for formal attire in the color emerald green - for the Emerald Isle. There will be time between the ceremony and reception if you want to take the time to change into your dancing shoes and casual clothing to prepare for a night out in Ireland. Though it is summer, Ireland has a temperate climate with temperatures ranging 51-71 degrees (Fahrenheit).
Our beautiful venue has both indoor and outdoor capability, weather dependent. So we are hopeful for outdoors but prepared for indoors. Keep in mind - Ireland gets around 16 hours of sunlight this time of year and has a temperate climate with the average temperatures ranging 51-71 degrees (Fahrenheit).
We are having an intimate ceremony with immediate family and friends only. For married guests, of course your significant other is welcome. For unmarried guests, your envelope and invitation will specify “and Guest.”
We have an incredible photographer (and videographer) who are very excited to capture how this moment looks with their camera, so you can capture how it feels with your hearts. Please keep your phones down and away during the ceremony. We also ask that you please respect this intimate moment by not sharing photos on social media until the bride and groom do. For the reception and everything before and after - go CRAZY! Use our wedding hashtag #LuckOfTheSears and post as many photos as you want of yourself and the festivities. But again, please be respectful of the family and friends who aren’t present and don’t include photos of the bride and groom.
