You can RSVP on this very website! Check out the top of the screen. Please let us know by 10 November 2021.
Plan on arriving by the morning of Thursday, August 18th. Wedding festivities will occur from Thursday, August 18th through Monday, August 22nd, and we would recommend staying 2 days to explore Cambridge afterwards (perhaps departing then on Tuesday (Aug 23rd) or Wednesday (Aug 24th). See 'THINGS TO DO' page above for itineraries made by Meg. Important: Please make sure to tell us your flight details when you RSVP the Welcome Dinner event.
Having lived on our own so long, we’ve amassed everything we could possibly need for our home. As such, we kindly request no boxed gifts. + A small donation to a charity close to our hearts would really make our day (listed on our Registry tab above :)
We completely understand, things come up. Just email us at cambridgelovestory@gmail.com so we can make changes.
Madingley Hall or Rectory Farm! Check the 'Travel / Stay' tab above on this very website for information about how to book a room.
There is plenty of parking at Madingley Hall and Rectory Farm, but we will be arranging for shuttles to take all of our guests from Madingley Hall to the wedding ceremony at Trinity Hall on August 19th. From there, we're arranging transportation to the reception site (via punt! Down the river!). We're also arranging for all of our guests to be brought back to Madingley Hall from the reception site at around midnight. The University of Cambridge and the town itself is beautiful but dense (the streets are very old and built for horse carriages), so parking can be a bit difficult. We recommend leaving your car at home on the wedding day (Friday, August 19th).
Sure! Your children will be listed on your household RSVP profile. All guests are invited to the Welcome Dinner on Thursday, August 18th and the title track wedding on Friday, August 19th. However, under-18s cannot be present for our Sunday evening event: the Bangali wedding at Peterhouse College, due to the rules of the venue.
Unfortunately there is a limit on the guests we can invite and generally we cannot accommodate plus ones. If you feel we left out someone very important, let us know, but please understand that our limitations mean that our hands are tied.
It will be most likely warm, and cooler as the evening proceeds. Thankfully both the ceremony and the reception will be hosted in air conditioned buildings. We recommend checking the weather before packing and dressing for the day (at night it can drop to around 13°C or 55.4°F).
There will definitely be an amusing interpretation of dancing. Wear comfortable shoes! If you'd like to recite / perform some poetry, give a small speech, or sing a song with the band we've hired, let us know at cambridgelovestory@gmail.com or message MoB Llony at 5164774750.
