Our wedding will take place in the small town, Telões, which is nearby the larger city, Amarante, where you can find lots to see, do, and eat. Here's some ideas we've seen!

About a 15 minute drive from the hotel! Portugal has many wonderful golf courses to enjoy. This one is local to the hotel.

Amarante Golfing

The Douro river flows from Porto on the western coast, through the Spanish border. If you are visiting Porto before or after our wedding, we can't suggest a tour or just a day of walking along the Douro enough. If you are interested in wine tasting or tours of the Douro valley, there are plenty to choose from! This link suggests a guided trip that starts in Porto and takes you to Douro.
