We'd love to tell you it was love at first sight. The reality is, we actually did not get along at first. We were two coworkers at Aeropostale, folding shirts and ringing up customers. Ema was bubbly and annoying (as she is) and Cam ignored her and acted unbothered by the world (as he does). Slowly, Ema's sarcastic comments seeped through Cam's tough exterior, and before we could recognize the friendship that was blossoming, we were falling in love. What began as "just friends'" day trips to art museums, walks to the closest Dunkin' Donuts, and text conversations made up of only memes, developed into an undeniable bond, mutual respect and a beautiful love. We have had the pleasure of growing, learning, and loving life together for almost a decade. It may not have been love at first sight, but we can't help but believe it was all meant to be.
