FAQs

The Wedding Website of Tracey Lucas and Craig Conway
The answers to your burning questions!
Question

COVID-19 is still a thing - should I bring a mask?

Answer

The bride and groom want everyone at the wedding festivities to stay safe. We have a page on this website dedicated to COVID-19 accommodations that will answer all of your questions about the required PPE for all wedding events, in accordance with Pennsylvania state guidelines and the most current CDC recommendations. Please see the "COVID-19 Updates" page on this site for up-to-date information.

Question

I have my invitation - when should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would appreciate the return of all RSVP's by April 29, 2021.

Question

My invitation does not say plus one - should I assume I have one?

Answer

Although we would love to invite everyone we care about, that's just not feasible. Please only bring the people listed on your invitation - if you have a plus one, your invitation will include the phrase "and guest."

Question

I have kids - are they invited?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children not specifically listed on the invitation.

Question

I have mobility restrictions - are the venues wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception venues are wheelchair accessible! If you have specific concerns, please contact the bride or groom directly.

Question

I'd love to stay with fellow wedding guests for the weekend. Where should I book my lodging?

Answer

We have a hotel block booked at the Courtyard by Marriott - Erie Bayfront, which literally shares a building with the reception venue. Please visit the "Travel" page of this site for the link to book within that block.

Question

I have a food allergy or restriction - can I make a special request?

Answer

On the RSVP card included in your invitation package, there is space below your attendance reply to specify any dietary restrictions you may require. Please return promptly so we can accommodate your needs.

Question

I want to buy the happy couple a wedding gift - where are they registered?

Answer

Thank you so much! You can purchase a gift from the registry straight from this website! Please go to the registry page to browse the options available there.

Question

I know the bride and groom are based in Colorado - should I physically bring their gift to the reception?

Answer

The bride and groom appreciate your thoughtfulness! The registry on this website will ship all physical gifts directly to the bride and groom's home in Colorado, so you don't have to worry about anything once it's purchased.

Question

Okay, I'm getting packed - what's the weather like in Erie this time of year?

Answer

Erie is beautiful in the summer! The average temperature this time of year is a high of low 70s and a low of mid-50s. Our venues are indoors with outdoor options, so we recommend something light and breezy with a cover-up for later in the evening.

Question

I'm flying directly into Erie - should I rent a car?

Answer

We really only recommend renting a car if you're coming from the out-of-town airports. An Uber from Erie International Airport to the Courtyard Marriott at Erie Bayfront will cost <$15, and most of the wedding festivities will be downtown within a mile of the hotel.

Question

I'm getting into Erie on Friday night - what should I do?

Answer

Post-rehearsal dinner, the bridal party will head to U Pick 6 Tap House on State Street for some casual drinks and apps on their outside patio. Stop by for this informal get together before the big day! Don't forget to RSVP on the website so we have a headcount for the venue!

Question

The ceremony starts at 2pm - what time should I arrive?

Answer

The bride and groom want the ceremony to start exactly at 2pm, so please make arrangements to be seated and ready at the Erie Playhouse by 1:55pm. Please refer to your invitation or the schedule page of this site for more information.

Question

Okay, but I didn't rent that car - will transportation be provided to and from the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! The bride's parents are providing a trolley between the reception venue / hotel and the ceremony venue. Here are the details: TRANSPORT BEGINS: approximately 1:15pm TRANSPORT ENDS: approximately 3:45pm CAPACITY: 26 passengers DRIVE TIME BETWEEN VENUES: <5 minutes ROUNDTRIP TRAVEL TIME: approximately 20 minutes including loading / unloading **First come, first served** If you don't want to wait for the trolley, Ubers between venues will cost <$10.

Question

I love to livestream - what's your social media hashtag?

Answer

Rock on, social media maven! Our social hashtag for the event is #CallUsConway, but we humbly ask that you refrain from livestreaming or taking phone photos during the ceremony. We will have professional photographers at all of the wedding festivities, and we would prefer to see your faces in our photos instead of your phones!

Question

The spirit has moved me and I want to give a toast! - Who do I have to clear this with?

Answer

We're so happy you feel moved, but please do not give a speech if you have not been cleared to do so by the bride.

Question

I want to attend the cookout on Sunday - how should I RSVP?

Answer

The bride's parents appreciate your RSVP, as it gives the caterer a much-needed headcount. Please RSVP on this website via the "Schedule" page.

Question

It's Memorial Day weekend - what can I do locally after the cookout on Sunday?

Answer

Erie and the surrounding areas have TONS to do during the summer months. Please refer to our "Things to Do" section for suggestions on how to get the most of your holiday weekend in NWPA!
