FAQs

Question

When will you be sharing more details about the day?

Answer

Our page "The Big Day" has now been updated with our Order of the Day including our food menus. Please have a look, and if you do have any questions, just send one of us a message! We will also be reaching out to all our guests as we run up to the wedding to share a few more updates and information too, so keep your eyes out on your inbox and/or messages.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Can you tell us about drinks and bar throughout the day and in the evening?

Answer

As much we would have loved to provide an open bar, unfortunately, it will not be. Don't worry though, there will be drinks available throughout the day during our Drinks & Canapés reception, Wedding Breakfast and at the start of the evening! There will be a bar at our venue where you can purchase drinks throughout the day and in the evening. This is a cashless bar, therefore, please make sure you have your card or Apple Pay handy!

Question

Are there any COVID guidelines to follow for the venue?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to take a lateral flow test at least 24 hours before attending our wedding and to report your result. We want to ensure our wedding day is safe and enjoyable for all our loved ones.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to take photos and videos for their social media channels using our wedding hashtag #WEBELANGTOGETHER. We do ask for anyone attending the ceremony to keep them under wraps during the day as we want our evening guests to have a look before anything is posted. Feel free to share once the evening is under way though!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage you to use the occasion to dress your best, but most important thing is we want you to feel comfortable and happy. If those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. Also it goes without saying, please no white dresses!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, and it's free! There is a car park on Morden Hall’s private grounds (this is separate to the National Trust’s Morden Hall Park garden centre and café car park). You can also leave your car overnight, and collect it from 9am to 10am on Saturday 19th February.

Question

Do you have a registry or gift lift?

Answer

Your presence is enough for us, however, if you would like to kindly gift us something, please check out our Gifts & Registry page.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, check out our Travel & Accommodation page for all the info you need.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Typically the temperature ranges from 2°C (35°F) to 8°C (46°F) with the average at 5°C (41°F), so you’ll definitely need something to keep you warm on the way or if you’re exploring outside around the grounds. With British weather, it will be hard to tell if it will be sunny, rain or even snow! As we run up to the week, we should have a better idea of how the weather will be.

Question

I've got another question. How can I ask?

Answer

Just drop one of us a message and we'll get back to you! We will be adding more to FAQs as we share more details too.
