It all started when Hannah bumped into people she knew from back home that Callum coincidentally made friends with when he first arrived to start university. With friendship groups merging for the night, the two ended up having a great time out getting to know all the best places in town (thank you, Daniel Baker - IYKYK). Afterwards, Callum and Hannah kept talking. Following several months of getting to know each other and bonding over catching up with the latest episode of 90210 (RIP), they made it official in February 2012.

Planning a proposal is never simple, but planning a proposal in 2020 with both Hannah and Callum working from home made it even harder to do so without Callum raising suspicions. From browsing engagement rings whilst sitting across the dining table from each other, to getting the ring into the house without Hannah noticing, it had to be a well planned affair. After getting an early morning round of golf in with the guys to calm the nerves and to keep Hannah in the grey as to what lay ahead, Callum let Hannah know to get ready for a trip out somewhere to make the most of the afternoon summer sun together. They picked up a few drinks and made the short journey down to Painshill Park in Cobham. The couple had visited the beautiful grounds before and Callum had a secluded area in mind for the perfect location to pop the question. The couple stopped by the cafe when they arrived to pick up some food to keep the hangry Hannah happy before heading over to the spot where the couple were soon to be engaged. The perfect moment had to wait until the classically British weather played its part and the rain showers passed as the couple sheltered beneath a tree and an umbrella together. Finally, after the rain cleared and the crowds dispersed from beneath the nearby trees, the couple were alone together in the idyllic location and the time was right. Callum, after expressing his love and admiration for Hannah, got down on one knee and asked Hannah to marry him. Despite being completely speechless and surprised, Hannah obviously said yes!

As Hannah and Callum look to celebrate 10 years together and look forward to times ahead, what better way to start this by tying the knot surrounded by their family and friends.
