Caitlyn and Calla have been friends for twenty years and have only ever had one fight! As Calla's oldest friend, Caitlyn has witnessed all of the bad haircuts, questionable decisions, and versions of Calla throughout the years. They designed friendship tattoos for each other (sight unseen) and lived together in Durham (with Andrew & Farris) for two years!

Chaz

Chaz and Andrew met during concert band at Buffalo Gap High School when they both started quoting Office Space. They quickly became inseparable thanks to a shared love of movies, television, and music - especially Billy Joel. Through ups and downs, they've been best friends for over a third of their lives. And still quote Office Space.

Amber

Amber and Calla met and became friends during their freshman year of high school and they've been close ever since! You can find them listening to Taylor Swift, screaming over something exciting, or trying to convince the other to move to their city. They've spent every New Year's Eve together (with Caitlyn & Farris) since 2016!

Alex

Groomsman

Alex and Andrew met during a poker game at UNC Asheville. Quickly realizing they both enjoyed cigars and complaining, they became confidants then brothers then best friends. Even now, they have a weekly phone call to swap jokes and grievances, and for their Video Game Club. Of which, they are the founding (and sole) members.

Kait

Kait and Calla met through Instagram in 2020 and finally made it IRL a year later! They enjoy reading fantasy and romance novels at top speeds, going on gobby sqworls' trips, thinking up podcast topics, making extremely niche memes, and sharing every thought, no matter what hour or how unhinged.

Chris

Groomsman

Chris and Andrew met through Brittany, the latter's sister and the former's now wife. Shortly before meeting, Brittany advised Andrew that Chris would try to weird him out, which Andrew took as a challenge to be outdone. Going in for a handshake, Andrew instead pulled Chris close to him, began rubbing his back, and whispered, "I've been looking forward to this... for so long." They've been over the top and weird together ever since, much to Brittany's chagrin.

Christina

Christina and Calla met and became friends when Andrew and Calla spent their first Thanksgiving together in 2017, and he introduced her to his favorite people! You can find them watching movies, sending memes, and laughing at Andrew and Chaz.

Jackson

Jackson and Andrew met thanks to another party thrown by Abby, Jackson's partner, one of Andrew's closest friends, and the wedding officiant. United by a love of cooking and good whiskey, Jackson and Andrew can be found in the background, rolling their eyes and laughing, while Abby and Calla sing Taylor Swift. They even sing along from time to time.

Erin

Erin and Calla narrowly avoided each other for years at UNC Asheville, and finally became friends in 2019! Both founding members of the Boquerones, they love to watch period pieces while drinking fancy drinks (themed, of course) and having four-hour "little chats" on Facetime.

Farris

Farris and Calla met in high school and became close friends during their freshman year at UNC Asheville! They've spent countless hours watching Marvista movies while going down celebrity conspiracy rabbit holes. Andrew and Farris enjoy hanging out, talking (and ranting) about politics and current events, and having bro time on porches.

Abby

Abby is the one who started it all: She threw the party in late 2016 where Andrew and Calla first met! As a founding member of the Boquerones and their resident attorney, Andrew and Calla couldn't picture anyone else officiating their ceremony.
