Emerald Bay State Park

If there's one place you should visit in your free time, it's Emerald Bay! We love visiting here to see the views, go for a hike, or rent a kayak.
Chambers Landing
6300 Chambers Lodge, Homewood, CA 96141
We'll be doing a group beach day here on Saturday at 1pm! Chambers Landing is a beach, bar, and restaurant near our wedding venue. It's great place to take in the views while sipping on their famous Chambers Punch!
Pioneer Cocktail Club
521 North Lake Boulevard, Tahoe City, CA 96145
Located in Tahoe City, the Pioneer Cocktail Club is a great place to grab a cocktail and some delicious food.
Kings Beach
Kings Beach, CA 96143
Did somebody say beach day? This is one of our favorite beaches on the lake. You can also rent a paddle board, kayak, or boat if you want to get out on the water!
Truckee
Truckee, CA 96161
Drive into the mountains and visit this small historic town. There's a walkable main street with shops and restaurants, as well as lots of outdoor activities in the area.
Old Town Tap

This restaurant in Truckee has delicious food and unique cocktails. We recommend the cheese board and mushroom mac 'n cheese.
Alibi Ale Works

Olympic Valley

Palisades Resort in Olympic Valley was the home of the 1960 Winter Olympics and is also a great place to visit in the summer. Ride the aerial tram to see some amazing views.
Bike Paths
Truckee River Bike Trail, Tahoe City, CA
There are no shortage of beautiful bike paths around Tahoe, so rent a bike and go for a ride!
Heavenly Village

Go for a drive around the lake with Heavenly Village as your destination. This is the largest town in Lake Tahoe with restaurants, shops, casinos, and even a gondola up the mountain.
Midtown District and Riverwalk
Reno, NV
We definitely recommend spending as much time as possible in Tahoe. But if you have some time to kill in Reno before or after your flight, we recommend walking around the Midtown District and along the Reno Riverwalk.
