My name is José. I met Caleb in 2014 while we were both living in Baltimore. Right off the bat, we became close friends. I credit his influence for my love of cooking. I had the privilege of getting to know Roren shortly after they had just started dating. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have them be like family to me, my wife, and our daughter.

I’m Cody. I met Caleb over six years ago in Baltimore. He and my husband hit it off shortly after they met, and our family has been hanging with Caleb ever since. Caleb invited us to DC to meet Roren shortly after they started dating. I knew she was awesome because she was working in a restaurant kitchen and wearing her hat backwards when we met. We could tell Caleb was serious about her, so we were serious about her. I am super thankful to call these folks family.

I met both Roren and Caleb when we all worked at Momofuku. After going through so much with opening up a big, shiny and new restaurant, we all became very close. It wasn't until Roren came to the dark side, also known as the back of the house, that their relationship started to grow. They were like two peas in a pod and I knew then, that they were going to be together forever. I'm so happy to be apart of it then and now and so happy to see how far they have come.

I met Roren & Caleb over food, working in the restaurant biz at Momofuku CCDC. First it was Roren. We worked our butts off opening that place, and first bonded discussing where to get our super specific uniform shirts. Soon after, I met Caleb. After I went on some world travels, we reunited working at Kevin Tien’s Himitsu. I remember coming in to work one day and seeing the two together. Roren says to me, with a big smile, “Oh ya, we’re dating now.” And the rest was history... :)

I'm Timothy, Caleb's little brother. I met my brother pretty early in his career. Sometimes, I feel like I've known him my whole life :P On many occasions, he has been an encouragement to me in times of doubt and worry. I was introduced to Roren sometime after they started dating, and she became part of the family pretty quickly. We have been through a lot together, and I am thankful for their relationship in my life.

I met Roren and Caleb while working at Momofuku as their sous chef. Caleb began his job working directly on the line under me and he has always been there to bail me out of the weeds, whether at Momofuku or any of my other crazy restaurants. Roren one day was in the kitchen looking for plastic wrap and I wondered what she was doing in the back considering she worked in the front of house. Little did I know, she was looking for love on the back line and found Caleb. I am so honored to be a part of a their special day and to be able to call them more than friends. They are family.
