A Roren and Caleb staple, and one of the best food items that you will ever buy in DC: the Chilito (with jalepeños). Trust. It is one of the best things you will eat in your lifetime. Probably a great place to go the day after the wedding...
The Roost - The Slice Joint
The most legit NY slice pizza in DC. The square pizza is also v good!
Doubles
In our early days, this was where Caleb would come to see Roren while she was working one of her three jobs at the time just to squeeze in some time to see her! Not to mention, it's a very chill cafe serving some very good coffee!
Wiseguy Pizza
Can you tell we like pizza yet? Hehe. We would often go to this pizza shop with the whole Momofuku kitchen crew after work, and fortunately, they offer the the second best slice pizza in the city. Don't sleep on the Grandma pizza!
Kabob Palace
An institution. It's a 24 hour place that serves up the best kabob in the DMV area. We love the bone-in chicken (don't be a fool and get the boneless...), the spinach with potato, and the kubidae!
Centrolina
A recent favorite, go here for super classic, well executed, and really delicious Italian food. We loved the Stracci pasta with rabbit ragu and the grilled seafood medley!
Rice Paper
A little out of the way, but worth the trek! We loved it so much one time, we went two days in a row... and again a week later! Our favorites are the fish clay pot, the Bahn Xeo, and the vermicelli noodle bowl with grilled pork and egg roll.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial
This is where Caleb proposed to Roren! But not to mention that the cherry blossoms will likely be in full bloom around our wedding and this is a great place to get your photos! A pro-tip, go at NIGHT! No crowds, and everything is still lit up so you can still see how pretty everything is!
Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum
Always a fun and interesting change up from the normal line up of Smithsonian's!
Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken
Yum. Our go-to place for fried chicken! Worth the drive.

Temari Cafe
Our favorite Japanese cafe in the area. Really chill vibe with simple made classics. Nothing groundbreaking, but everything heartwarming.
Dumbarton Oaks
Beautiful garden to walk around - it's a small fee to get in, but a great historic place to visit.
Menya Hosaki
Easily the best ramen in DC. Come here for comfort and a quick bowl of delicious ramen!
La Famosa
The empanadas doe. Just do it.

This was the place of Caleb and Roren's first date!
Rock Creek Park
DC's version of Central Park! We love that we have such a beautiful place to take in nature.
Donut Run
Vegan donuts - DON'T HATE. Honestly the best donuts in DC. They sell out all the time so go fast! Apple fritters are the truth.
Lost Sock Roasters
The best coffee in the city right now. Donuts across the street!
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen
It's the best Popeye's in the city. Trust.
Moon Rabbit DC
Caleb's (and Judy and Kevin's) work! Super yummy foods - try to grab a reservation for this popular spot!
Taqueria Habanero
So solid. Don't even bother with any other taco joint - go get the Al Pastor (and everything else ... including the tortas!)
