"Maid" of Honor
Kelly is more than Nadia's cousin and best friend - she is her sister. Knowing each other since (Nadia's) birth has enabled them to tour countless wineries, binge-watch hundreds of hours of TV, and create inside jokes that no one else finds funny. If you call either of them and they don't answer, best bet is you can find them floating on a giant, inflatable swan on Big Crooked Lake with an adult beverage in hand. Kelly is one of the most generous humans you will ever meet, and in a jam-packed schedule of being a new mom, she finds the time to make everyone feel special. Kelly taught Nadia how be more thoughtful, how to go outside of her comfort zone when traveling the world, and how to appreciate the small moments in life - because those are the ones that add up to something beautiful.
Michael Chodzko
Best Man
Mike and Caleb's friendship dates back all the way to 1999 when they joined forces as a defensive-duo on the same hockey team, the Prowlers. They became close friends and spent almost every day together, playing mini-sticks, basketball, and video games until the crack of dawn (much to the disapproval of their mothers). Their teammate streak continued through high school, adding in baseball and basketball to hockey. In the past two years, Caleb has instilled his passion for the English Premier League and Liverpool FC into Mike, although slightly backfiring, as Mike is now a passionate, die-hard Wolverhampton Wanderers fan. Caleb cannot thank Mike enough for standing by his side and for his lifelong friendship that they have both treated more as a brotherhood.
Chloe LaMew
Matron of Honor
Chloe and Nadia have been best friends since they met kicking around a soccer ball as young kids. Not only does Nadia look at Chloe like a sister to whom she can turn to for any amount of advice, but Nadia's family has looked at her as an honorary member of their family - expecting her to walk in without ringing the doorbell and grab a snack from the pantry. Chloe is the epitome of a best friend - she is loyal, trustworthy, and as patient as they come when dealing with Nadia's antics, especially with Nadia's lack of ability to admit when she's wrong about something. Although Chloe's high school goals of "living down the street from Nadia" have changed, Nadia knows she can count on Chloe being a valuable part of her life forever.
Ryan Hansen

Ryan and Caleb first met at their high school orientation where they immediately struck up a friendship after discovering they were both trying out for the basketball team. Their friendship truly kicked off when they were both cut from said team. Ryan, Mike, and Caleb became the picture-perfect "three amigos," spending virtually every day together. Ryan was the superstar football player, and Caleb and Mike were his biggest fans - body painting his jersey for every home game. Ryan and Caleb both attended Central Michigan University, one semester having the exact, same schedule (including an Astronomy lab where they would watch the stars cross-eyed) just to have more time together. Ryan and Caleb are as close as ever, sharing a love of golf, fine whiskey, and eating pizzas inebriated.
Lauren Hauber

Nadia still remembers the first time she ever met Lauren - her brother's new girlfriend (at the time). Nadia was a little bit nervous meeting someone outside of her circle, but Lauren exceeded her every expectation. Lauren is fiercely loyal, has an impressive green thumb, and puts up with Nadia's brother (so she's a saint). She has the ability to make you feel like you are the only person in the room and is truly remarkable in the amount of love and care she puts towards all relationships. Nadia has been so lucky to have such a fantastic, generous, thoughtful person in her life and as a new sister, and she is so thrilled Lauren will be standing by her side on her and Caleb's big day.
Tarik Ourchane

Caleb considers Tarik to always be the life of the party, amazingly, at 33 years old. Although they don't get to see each other often, with Tarik and his wife Lauren living in San Francisco, it is always quite an event when it happens. If there's anyone who can give Caleb a run for his money at staying up late and/or closing down the bar, it would be Tarik. They both share a passion of being obnoxious and sarcastic while, successfully, trying to annoy Nadia. Caleb considers himself very fortunate to have someone who is as kind-hearted, open-minded, and wholly entertaining as Tarik standing with him, as Caleb views him as the older brother figure he did not have growing up!
Alecia Bustamante

Although they didn't know it at the time, Alecia and Nadia have heard of each other from afar since their high school years as athletes - Nadia considers it a true blessing that they did not play any sports against each other, otherwise Alecia's opinion of her might be different. Since the beginning of Nadia and Caleb's relationship, Alecia has been one of their biggest supporters. Alecia's genuine kindness shines through her and it is impossible for someone to not enjoy being around her affectionate spirit. She welcomed Nadia into her home from the very beginning and Nadia feels eternally grateful for the way Alecia has embraced her as a sister.
Mickey Lewis

Mickey and Caleb have had a very tight-knit relationship since as long as they can remember, as they are first cousins. Mickey and Caleb grew up an hour drive from each other, but their parents made an incredible effort to enable them to spend as much time as possible with each other. Together, they think they are a comedic duo, but if you asked their parents, they would refer to them as "Dumb and Dumber." Oftentimes when they hang out, words aren't said for long stretches of time, only uproarious laughter is exchanged between the two for no apparent reason. Caleb has always tried to be a big brother to Mickey, giving advice and support however it's needed. Caleb is very thankful to have Mickey standing with him, and will relinquish taming him for one night only!
Kristin Avedisian

Nadia has Kristin to thank for her immense generosity since she gave the ultimate permission to a loud duet of brother and sister to live under the same roof in England. Whether it's a long chat about what's going on in their lives, a back-and-forth of jokes in ridiculous, cartoonish voices, or a suggestion for about a thousand movies Nadia hasn't seen, Kristin is there when Nadia needs her most. Kristin is attentive, caring, and thoughtful, but isn't afraid to hit you back with a sick burn if you're asking for it. Nadia is so thankful for the amount of time they had to closely bond during her time abroad, which is why Kristin is more than Nadia's sister-in-law, she is Nadia's "seester."
Adam Ourchane

Some may say Adam is the reason behind the success of Caleb and Nadia's relationship. Adam, Nadia's brother, and his wife, Kristin, graciously hosted the couple at their home in Reading, UK for three and a half months. Caleb managed to find his way to the UK due to Adam (slightly under the influence) inviting Caleb to come live with them, mind you, without Nadia's knowledge. Caleb jumped at the chance and the rest is history. Adam and Caleb share a burning love of Liverpool Football Club. They talk incessantly about games, news, signings, and even join harmonies in LFC songs. Adam joined in Caleb and Nadia's first trip to Anfield to watch Liverpool play Napoli on a rainy Wednesday night in Merseyside, which will be known as Caleb's second best day of his life, after May 7th, 2022.
Keanna Abston

Nadia considers Keanna to be her spirit human. Keanna is amazingly approachable, the life of the party, and knee-slapping hilarious, which is why it was so easy for Nadia to open up to her since their very first meeting. Keanna is able to make anybody feel welcome, finding ways to relate to them and having conversations like you've known each other for years. Being Caleb's twin sister, Keanna knows Caleb down to his core, which is why it's so easy for Keanna and Nadia to discuss his best habits (and less best habits) for hours on end. Keanna will be there for you through highs and lows, through thick and thin, which is why Nadia has her on speed-dial in case of emergency.
Lacy Wineberger

Lacy and Nadia had taken notice of each other around their apartment complex in Denver for months and both had the same thoughts "How do I become friends with this person?" If it weren't for Lacy's vivacious and outgoing personality they'd still be thinking these same things. Lacy and Nadia became instant friends when they realized they shared the same interests: aerated red wine and getting their boyfriends out of their hair. Lacy and Nadia can talk about a never-ending list of topics all without noticing that the clock has hit 1 AM (by which time, they're most likely asleep on the couch). They are both so glad to have found their mountain of a friend in the Rockies.
Darius Wilson

Darius is Caleb's newest friend in the party, but he considers him to be a lifelong brother. Darius and Caleb kept crossing paths in the elevator of their apartment complex, where Caleb took notice of Darius' Detroit Tigers hat. Nadia encouraged Caleb to strike up a conversation with Darius about their shared Michigan relation, but Caleb, being shy, did not. Rather, on a fateful Fourth of July, Caleb brought down a beer bong to the pool which immediately peaked Darius' interest. It took all but three minutes to strike up a great friendship. Caleb wants to give a special shout out to "D", who is the man behind the designs of the Save the Dates, Invitations, and any other graphics you may see. He is truly thankful for the brotherhood they share, along with their passion for great whiskey!
