This is a great icon of Nashville. You can also hit Broadway which is a must hit of Nashville!
The 5 Spot
This is where Amber and I met. We danced together and I found out she grew up in White House and taught at the school my brother Josh graduated from. So I introduced her to Josh thinking they'd hit it off well. They did but she had eyes for only me. Josh asked for her number and she gave it to him, hoping to get to me. Looks like it worked.
The Parthenon
One of our favourite parks in Nashville. I'd definitely put this as number one thing to see in Nashville. I mean how many cities have a giant replica of the Parthenon. Also the surrounding park is gorgeous and perfect for walking.
Radnor Lake
This is a beautiful park with a lovely little 1-2 mile walk/hike around the lake. This is one of our favourite places to walk/hike. There is an entrance on the east side and west side. Either work just fine.
Long Hunter State Park
Want to know where we took our engagement photos? Right here at this park. Gorgeous 2 mile walk/hike.
Zander's Woodfired Pizza
If you're looking for a good place to eat in Dickson, rumor has it that this place is awesome!! The Zander pizza is recommended.
Corsair Distillery & Headquarters
Amber and I are whiskey sippers and this is our absolute favourite distillery ever. So good.
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams
Some of the best ice cream in Nashville. Also the area of 12th Avenue is awesome to walk around. Great little shops and restaurants.
Burger Republic
Best Burger in Nashville according to Amber and I. Tater Tots all day long!!!
Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint
Our #1 recommendation for BBQ. So good. Also check out Peg Leg Porker and Edleys for BBQ.
Loveless Cafe
Some of the best biscuits in town. Breakfast is awesome!!!
Monell's At the Manor
Our favourite breakfast place in nashville and just a mile from Amber's house. This is family style seating which means they have tables for 10 and they fill them up. It's buffet style except they bring the food to you pass it around. Remember: "Pass to the Left."
McKay's Nashville
Great selection of used books, games, records, tapes, cds and so much more.
Prince's Hot Chicken Shack
Nashville is known for it's Hot Chicken (it's deep fried chicken with some seriously good spices). Also Check out Hattie B's, but Prince's is the original Hot Chicken.
Coco's Italian Market
The best Italian in Nashville. Also has an amazing little Italian Market attached where everything is imported from Italy including cheeses, olives, pasta, etc.
Marathon Village
This is a great tourist shopping mall. The building is an old motor works factory that now has a ton of little shops. Also in here is Nelson's Greenbrier Distillery....can you tell we like whiskey?
