There’s no Jersey City without the waterfront. We’re here almost every day, on a morning run or a long post-work stroll, and we never get tired of the views. If you do just one thing during your time in Jersey City, we highly recommend taking a walk along the water.
We would be remiss if we didn’t recommend one of the most well-rounded spots for food, drinks, and views in Jersey City - the RoofTop at Exchange Place. If you’re looking for a more low-key vibe, check out a bar on Newark Avenue instead.
There are plenty of coffee spots around, but we recommend you check out our favorite local one. It’s been the backbone of our ‘Coffee Fridays’ for the past few years and their cold brew does not disappoint.
It might not look like much from the outside, but inside you’ll find authentic Mexican food, great prices, and the best margaritas in town.
Just a short walk away is a local Italian deli that makes some of the best sandwiches around. Order the #14 with creamy pesto - you can thank us later.
Known as the best pizza in Jersey City, this wood-fired gem is almost impossible to get an indoor dinner reservation at (though you can grab pizza to go and snag a spot at their outdoor tables, first-come, first-served). If you’re up for a Hoboken detour, our longtime favorite is Tenth Street Pizza.
We know how much our guests love their New Jersey bagels, and this spot is conveniently located right near the hotel. We waited over an hour to try them at their grand opening and can confidently say - they hit the morning bagel craving perfectly.
If you want a sneak peek of the venue, head to Liberty State Park. This historic park offers clear views of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and is also a great place to just hang out and relax.
