What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Think elegant and formal - long or midi dresses for women, and suits or tuxes for men.

What is the welcome party dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our welcome party is elevated casual. Think summer dresses or jumpsuits for women, and polos or button-down shirts for men.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is free parking available on site at Maritime Parc.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. If weather allows, the cocktail hour will take place outside on the venue's wrap around porch.

Am I allowed to bring a plus 1?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.

Are children invited to the wedding / welcome party?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding weekend, including the welcome party, will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding!

When do I need to book a room by as part of the room block?

Answer

The room block rate for both Residence Inn and Canopy will end on July 27, 2026. Please book before then to ensure you receive the discounted rate.

Is there parking at the hotels?

Answer

Residence Inn: Valet parking is $45 per night. A self-parking garage is available next door for $30 per 24 hours. Canopy: Valet parking is $45/$55 depending on the day. A self-parking garage is available for $30 per 24 hours.

Is the welcome party indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The welcome party will take place on Porta's outdoor covered rooftop.

Is there parking at the welcome party?

Answer

There is no on-site parking at the welcome party, however, one of the reasons we chose Porta is because it is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel! If needed, street parking is available in the surrounding area, and there are several nearby parking garages.

Question

Is there transportation from the hotel to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We’ve arranged a 50-person party bus to transport guests from the Residence Inn to the venue. The bus will make one trip to the venue, so if it fills up, we recommend using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. After the reception, the party bus will make as many return trips as needed back to the hotel.
