Question
Where do I Stay?
Answer
All guests will be staying onsite at Virginia Park Lodge for Friday and Saturday night. Once we have your RSVP, we will begin assigning rooms. Room designations will be coordinated by the bride and groom, so that all guests can fit on site. Then the lodge will reach out to confirm and collect payment. Breakfast will be provided both Saturday and Sunday morning on the grounds of Virginia Park Lodge.

Weekend Attire

Welcome Party: Classy casual is requested. No T-shirts or blue jeans please. Wedding Day: European formal cocktail attire. Fascinators and jackets encouraged. Suits encouraged for men, no tuxedos please. Elements of the day will be on grass and gravel, be cautious in stiletto shoes. Please be prepared for inclement weather (re: Irish rain), as aspects of the weekend will be outdoors (jacket, sweaters, appropriate footwear). Day 2: Casual attire.

Are Children Welcome?

While we love to see children laugh and play, our wedding will be an adult only kind of day. We hope you will understand our decision to make our wedding weekend child free and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate with us.

What's a Fascinator?

Definition from Oxford Languages Dictionary: noun 1. a woman's light, decorative headpiece consisting of feathers, flowers, beads, etc. attached to a comb or hair clip. 2. a fascinating person. Fascinators are a staple of European wedding and regal event fashion (think royal wedding headwear for women). Please have fun with this, if interested, and find headwear that matches and elevates your outfit!

Can I Bring a Guest?

Can I use my chargers and cords from the USA.
Answer
No, you can use your plug and cord, but require an adapter in order to be able to plug it into the wall. For those intending to use hair tools (hair dryer, curling iron, straightener, etc) or other high power items (steamer, blender-hah!), you also will require a converter. All rooms are equipped with hair dryers and irons. Getting back to Dublin on Sunday?
Answer
Coach busses have been arranged for Sunday at 11:30am to help transport everyone back to Dublin. After finding your own way to Virginia, we'll help get you back whether you're joining us for Day Two or continuing on your journey via Dublin Airport. RSVP is available.
