Maid of Honor
To say Caitlin and Tori were instant friends would unfortunately, be a lie. After being forced to sit across from each other at work, they *somehow* became close friends. Two truths and a lie about Tori: She was a cheerleader in HS, she has a fascination for anything outdoorsy, she can finish a bottle of wine in one sitting. You can usually find Tori underneath millions of blankets, wine glass in one hand, cheese in the other, smile on her wine-stained lips, asleep by the firepit in Carmel--and that's exactly where we would want her to be. Ask Tori: How she feels about this bio. Tori's weakness: Cheese. At the wedding, bring Tori a: Dirty Vodka Martini, with blue cheese olives.
Best Man
Mike and Kava met in high school in a class about life. In biology class, you ask? Yes, exactly! Mike was by Kava's side when he married the loved of his life (Arielle) and he'll have the honor of doing the same when Mike marries the love of his. Kava is a self taught artist, amateur handyman and made the final round of Dancing with the Stars. You'll find Kava on the dance floor, leading the SuperBowl shuffle. Ask Kava: About their Eurotrip. Kava's weakness: Poppy seed muffins. When you see him, bring him: A Pilsner.
Bridesmaid
Mackenzie broke Caitlin's heart when she moved to Minnesota after living in the same hometown as each other for 26 years. They've traveled out of the country together, yet Mackenzie herself has traveled to more places in the world than the Dos Equis guy. She will likely be the only person at this wedding still insisting to wear sunglasses when it's dark out, and you can bet she'll be the last one on the dance floor requesting Adele late into the night. Ask Mack: About the first time her and Caitlin met. Mack's weakness: Birds. She LOVES them. At the wedding, order Mack: Wine. Any kind, she'll drink it.
Best Man
Mike and Justin met in second grade, over 20 years ago, making him Mike's oldest friend in the wedding party. Man, time flies when you're having fun. Speaking of fun, this guy has received rave reviews in the dating world, making him the most eligible Bachelor. "10/10 would date again"-Gigi Hadid, model "LA's most adorable Bachelor"-Variety magazine "Too hot to handle"-Hannah Brown, Bachelorette Season 23 Ask Justin: To give you a tour of the property (wink). Justin's weakness: Al Pastor Tacos. At the wedding, bring him: Single Malt Whisky, and a lady on the side.
Bridesmaid
Rachel has known Caitlin since they were little wee ones in Kindergarten. They've been through it all: unpopular fashion statements, such as blue eye shadow and black lipstick, or extra large J-Lo brand hot pink puffy jackets (because somehow Caitlin was convinced this was cool), Spice Girl concerts, learning to drive, and sharing an absurd fear of flying. Rachel has quite an extensive palate, as she specializes in an exotic dish "buttered noodles", consisting of...butter, and noodles. Ask Rachel: For any childhood story of the two of them (outside of earshot of Caitlin). Rachel's weakness: Butter. At the wedding, order Rachel: Bread, butter and salt.
Groomsman
Mike was with Amir when he proposed to his wife Josie, and again when they tied the knot in Maryland a few years ago where Mike pulled out some unforgettable dance moves. Two truths and a lie: He's a doctor. Rami Malek (who played Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody), is his first cousin. He was set up with his wife by one of the guests in the wedding. Ask Amir: About his stand-up career. Amir's weakness: A burger from Kuma's Corner in Chicago ,IL. At the wedding, order Amir: A Cosmo, extra sweet.
Bridesmaid
They say that love can happen at first sight. This was true, not only for Caitlin and Mike, but for Caitlin and Elise. As a shy, impressionable freshman, Caitlin deemed Elise as her chosen favorite on their HS Softball team, and they've been best friends ever since. This girl somehow broke her kneecap standing, sober, at a wedding, and we hope she keeps all her bones intact for ours--break hearts, not bones, Elise. Ask Elise: Her opinion on Taylor Swift. (Spoiler alert: you will receive the riot act if you so much as utter a negative word about her). Elise's weakness: Cats. At the wedding, order Elise: A Paloma, but present it to her as a "paw-loma".
Groomsman
Both Wildcats, Mike and Pat met their freshman year when Mike walked into Pat's room and noticed the ebony girls calendar posted on the wall in his dorm. Mike turned to Pat and asked, "whose is that?", to which Pat replied "...mine". Pat's affinity for the exotic continues to this day, and was made evident when he suggested that all Groomsmen wear traditional Swahili ceremonial garb, and even offered to play the Bongos (for free). Ask Pat: If he wants to see the baby turtles. Pat's weakness: Absinthe. At the wedding, order Pat: A Mai Tai.
Groomsman
Back when Mike and Mike lived in and roamed the streets of SF, you would find them holed up at Maggie Mcgarry's on a Saturday night, taking shots with Jim (the bouncer), and sharing fireside chats with the live band. Two truths and a lie about Mike: He has over 40 relatives. He sleeps in his Grandma's bed. He was an extra in the movie 300 (as they required full-blooded Greeks to be in the movie). Ask Mike: How many free beer Columbus Cafe tokens he has left. Mike's weakness: Pizza after 11 pm. At the wedding, order Mike: Gin and tonic.
Bridesmaid
Ashley started out as Caitlin's boss at their previous jobs, and almost immediately became friends (mostly because they equally hated their jobs). Pros about Ashley: She can probably out-drink you. Cons about Ashley (are there any?): She probably actually can't out-drink you, but she will try anyway. We love her for her crazy heart (and crazy mind). Ask Ashley: How many times she's had to listen to the Frozen soundtrack. Ashley's weakness: Banana Bread, and Kid Cudi. At the wedding, order Ashley: ALL the bubbles.
Groomsman
Caitlin will incorrectly claim that her and John were friends first, but when Mike laid eyes on John, their friendship was off to the races. Sharing a love for mezcal, latin culture, fly fishing, and overspending in Vegas, they were destined to be great friends. Ask John: John's weakness: His adorable daughter. And a shot of tequila. At the wedding, order John:
Bridesmaid
Lyndsay and Caitlin went to college together, yet didn't become close friends until their late 20's. They share a love for wine, the Bachelor, wine, cheese, wine, hiking, wine, and being complete neat freaks. If Lyndsay were to live a fantasy, it would be as a senorita in Mexico, with chips and guac at her fingertips, and just the right amount of fiesta. Ask Lyndsay: For hiking advice in the area! Lyndsay's weakness: A good nap. At the wedding, order Lyndsay: Wine--but let's be specific here. This should be a 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, not too bold, yet not to fruit forward, aerated and served at a medium temperature of 63 degrees F.
Officiant
Ah yes, the prodigal son. Matthew is a wild card--will he do our ceremony in Latin? Will he repeat the infamous "mawage is what bwings us togetha today"? Will he wear technicolor robes? Will he let his long locks flow and play the part of Jesus for our blessed day? We chose Matthew to officiant for many reasons, but specifically because he knows and loves us both. You can usually find Matthew out on the dance floor, groovin' to Abba, eyes closed, demanding cold vodka shots alllll around. Ask Matthew: His nickname for Caitlin before he could actually say "Caitlin". Matthew's weakness: A solid 80's hit. At the wedding, order Matthew: A big glass of 2% milk and 2 warm chocolate chip cookies. Or a Stella.
