While a favorite location for concerts in the Denver-area, there is also lots of hiking in the area. Run the stairs of the amphitheater, hike the surrounding trails, or just walk around and enjoy the beautiful red rocks and view of the Denver Metro.
Our favorite Italian restaurant! Menu favorites: the Chile Relleno Raviolil (Caitlin) or Lobster Gnocchi (Mickey). End your meal with in-house made lemoncello! Then head next door to the Carboy Winery.

Stop at Stem Ciders for a hard cider, Infinite Monkey Theorem for a glass of wine, or one of the MANY breweries in the neighborhood. Can't decide what to eat? Denver Central Market has a little bit of everything.

Another beautiful hike within about 60 minutes of Littleton, CO. Stop in Idaho Springs after hiking for a beer at Tommy Knockers Brewery or lunch at Beu Joe's Mountain Pizza!
Looking for a day trip? Boulder, CO is probably what you envisioned Colorado to be all about. Hike the Flatirons, shop Pearl Street, and eat lunch at Bar Taco (or have a margarita at the Rio!).
If you are planning to head west after the wedding, Glenwood Springs is one of our favorite mountain towns. Unique locations: soak at Iron Mountain Hot Springs, hike Hanging Lake (reservations required), or explore the adventure/theme park up on a mountain cliff.

Black Hawk, CO is the Las Vegas of Colorado - casinos, casinos, casinos. If you're wanting to test your luck at the slots, take a day trip (or spend the night at the Ameristar) to Black Hawk.
Rainy day and looking for an indoor activity? The Nature & Science Museum is a family favorite (we were members when we lived on the east side of Denver).
A Mexican food favorite - the queso dip, a blue margarita and a crispy chile relleno are đź’Ż. Then go across the street to D Bar for dessert (reservation recommended).

Golden is a cute town nestled into the foothills. With nearby hiking, Coors brewery (and other fun breweries), variety of food and drinks, and shopping, Golden is a great day trip. You can also tube down Clear Creek! Go to Bonfire Burritos for the best breakfast burrito (according to Mickey - order ahead - wait times can be 60-120 min), Woody’s for a Bloody Mary, Sassafras for a mimosa or bloody mary flight, Golden Sweets for ice cream, Golden Goods for your souvenirs, The Golden Mill for your food hall needs, or grab a coffee at Generous Coffee (for all you Bachelor fans - this is Ben Higgins’ coffee shop).
