Hi Everyone! We are in the homestretch before the big day. Updates to the website will be completed to help guests navigate 8/5/21 easily. Some key things to note: - Travel: A Lyft code is in the travel section of the website to help get you to the wedding (if you don’t plan to drive) along with some hotel options nearby; we recommend getting to The Manor House between 4:30-4:45pm to be ready for the ceremony to begin at 5pm. - Wedding Day: An updated menu and schedule of events will be posted to the wedding portion (so you know the flow of the day and the food being served). Feel free to reach out if you have any questions; 218.780.2944 or caitlinstackpool@gmail.com
June 15, 2009 is the “start date” of our story as a couple. Since then, we have had more than 10 years of adventures. From northern Minnesota where it all began, to Grand Forks, ND; La Crosse, WI across the country to Denver, CO. We have moved across the country to follow our hearts; been to 10 MLB baseball fields; gotten a puppy; jetsetted the world to Greece, Italy & India; traveled countless times to see our friends and family across the US; ran a marathon together; got engaged and kicked off the next chapter of this life we built together.
Just two days before my birthday, I went out shopping with my aunt, Jess. When she dropped me off at home, the house was all lit up outside with lights, flowers and candles. There was a long white runner leading from the gate into the house. Mickey came out to get me from the car. He walked me to the door (more like chased me since I was speed walking and crying trying to figure out what was going on) and cues Alexa to play the music. Inside, Milo was sitting patiently with a bandana saying “Will you marry my dad?”. Mickey took the ring from the table, got down on one knee, and asked me to be his wife. I said yes - and Milo jumped all over in excitement.
