Getting Around Ithaca

You won't need a car for wedding events. We provide a shuttle from Ithaca Commons to the ceremony and reception, or otherwise Ithaca is very walkable or there are ubers. However, if you'd like to do some exploring around the area throughout the rest of the weekend (we hope you do!), it would be useful to have a car.

Flight

Fly In

We strongly recommend driving if possible! If you have to fly, the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport is definitely the closest airport, and you can fly in from select cities including Philadelphia, DC, Detroit, and NYC. Another option is to fly into Syracuse Hancock Int'l Airport and rent a car or take a taxi (about a one hour drive).

It's a beautiful and easy drive into Ithaca! Consider driving if you're in the Northeast.

Train

Bus or Train

We strongly recommend driving if possible! If you have to take public transportation, you can take a train (Amtrak) from Boston or New York to Syracuse. Additionally there's a direct bus (Greyhound or Megabus) from New York to Ithaca.
