Ceremony and Cocktail Hour
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

We recommend semi-formal attire. Cocktail, midi and maxi dresses, as well as jumpsuits, are great options. So are slacks and dress shirts (tie optional). We recommend comfortable shoes!
Life happens, and if you happen to be late, don’t stress! Simply find a spot to sit or stand at the back of the peristyle to avoid disrupting the ceremony. We expect the ceremony to last 20-30 minutes. After the ceremony, we will serve beer, wine, water, and light snacks. This will be an opportunity to enjoy the scenery around the peristyle, take photos and make new friends.
Second Line
6:30 pm - 7:00 pm
We’ll walk on the sidewalk and grass, so bring comfy shoes (low heels, flats or sneakers).
For those who may be unfamiliar, a Second Line is a lively New Orleans tradition where people parade behind a brass band. Check out this YouTube link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTwdP0PVVY0) if you want a better idea! During the Second Line, we will follow a band from the peristyle on a short route around the park. The route will be approximately half a mile and will lead us to the Reception. The route will circle back to the peristyle if you only want to participate in the second half.
Reception
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
We will offer passed Hors d'oeuvres and a New Orleans-style buffet with three stations.
