COVID-19 Travel Requirements

The state of Hawaii is requiring that all people traveling to any of the islands get a COVID-19 test 72 hours before your scheduled arrival time to Hawaii, even if you are fully vaccinated. You MUST use a pre-approved testing facility. You must also create an account at travel.hawaii.gov. Please make sure to follow all the steps on this website for smooth travels. We highly recommend getting tested at a Walgreens, as it is free to most people and you are guaranteed to get your test results within 24 hours via email. Once you have received your COVID-19 Negative Test Result, you will upload a PDF of your results to your account on travel.hawaii.gov. 24 hours BEFORE your flight to Maui, you must complete a short health screener on travel.hawaii.gov as well. If you are planning to fly Alaska Airlines, you will be able to skip the screening when you arrive in Maui's airport. Masks are required by the airlines throughout the entire flight unless you are actively eating or drinking.
