If you’re planning to arrive a few days early or stay on after the wedding, the hotel is happy to offer a discounted rate for extended stays (instead of the usual €160+ per night). Fly into Amsterdam (AMS), a major international hub with direct flights from many cities worldwide. cheap flights you can find at www.skyscanner.com or www.google.com/travel/flights From Amsterdam Schiphol airport you'll be at the Van der Valk Hoorn Hotel within 1,5hours by public transport. In our experience, booking tickets on a Tuesday gives the best price. Also, make sure to use a VPN or a different device for the final booking, as some airlines increase prices when you visit them more often with the same itinerary.

Trains & Busses
The Netherlands has an easy and efficient public transportation system. All public transport you check in and out of the ride with a debit or credit card. Trains connect the airport to cities and towns across the country, including Van der Valk Hoorn Hotel (one and a half hour from airport to hotel by train and bus). Other options like taxis, and rideshares (including Uber) and car rentals are widely available. Try biking for a true Dutch experience
