Night Before Welcome Gathering

This event is Casual/Smart Casual. We can't wait to see you there!

You've landed and settled in, now let's get together for a few light bites and drinks. Nothing fancy, just a great opportunity to meet the rest of the crew and for us to welcome you to a city that means so much to us.

Ceremony

10:00 am

A van will whisk our group on an outdoor wedding day adventure. Come dressed in black-tie and warm layers. Bring a change of clothing for the rest of the day.

12:15 Arrive at our wedding destination: Írárfoss. Walk a short distance (over gravel and grass) and take a seat. 12:30 Wedding Ceremony 1:00 Bubbles and Bites. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and cake. 2:00 Rest stop and opportunity to change at Skálakot Hotel at Reception. 2:30-5:00 Adventure time for you, photo time for us. Enjoy the ride back to Reykjavik, stopping at a couple of points along Iceland's southern shore to explore with a guide. 7:00 Arrive back in Reykjavik. Drop off point is The Edition Hotel. You'll have time to go back to your hotel to rest and change back into black-tie for tonight's dinner. For Ceremony and Reception: Black-Tie. Wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with black neckties or bowties. For the Adventure: Outdoor-appropriate clothing. Layer up. Boots or sneakers. Note: The plan is to be outside except for the bus ride and dinner. Plan for wind, cooler temperatures, and the possibility of rain.
