Question

COVID-19 Information (Part 1):

Answer

As of right now, the couple plans to move forward with their wedding with a not too limited guest list. They will update their guests if anything changes as the date of the wedding gets closer. Below is some information the couple would like their guests to know: * If you feel sick, have any symptoms (fever, cough, etc.), or have been exposed to someone who has felt sick or tested positive to the virus within the last week please do not attend. Please follow the CDC guidelines for proper quarantine/receiving positive test results. *Masks are optional and while not required, highly encouraged in indoor spaces, especially when social distancing is not feasible. Also, masks will not be provided, so please bring your own. *Social distancing will be a goal, however, not guaranteed. *The couple will attempt to have an adequate amount of hand sanitizer however; they cannot guarantee bountiful amounts. Please bring your own personal supply if able.

Question

COVID-19 Information (Part 2):

Answer

The safety and health of their family and friends is the couple's top priority. They understand if anyone is unable to attend their wedding and ask for your patience and understanding in return as they try to navigate planning their wedding during a pandemic. Please see the event tab on their website for a virtual link to the ceremony. The couple has created a zoom link for those who wish to watch the ceremony from the comfort and safety of their homes. The couple apologizes in advance for any technical difficulties with zoom that are beyond their control. Again, they thank everyone in advance for their patience and understanding! Stay safe and healthy!

Answer

Since it's November & Minnesota, unfortunately there is no way to predict the weather. It could be the most beautiful day or it could be a blizzard. Please be prepared for anything!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The couple (okay, Taylor) would love it if you wore something Semi-Formal/Dressy Casual, but all that matters is that you are comfortable & here to celebrate with them! Below are some examples of Semi-Formal/Dressy Casual outfits: Cocktail Dress, dressy skirt & top, formal long dress, suit & Tie, or dress pants or khaki's with a button down shirt or polo.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

The couple has provided a shuttle service (see accommodations page for details), but all are welcome to drive to the venue! There will be signs directing to the parking area & a parking attendant in the parking field. If you decide to stay & have a few drinks, the couple asks that you carpool back with someone who can drive safely or take the shuttle. Cars will be allowed to stay overnight at the venue but must be removed by 10:00 am the following morning.

Question

Is there a shuttle from our hotel to & from the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Accommodations" page on the website for shuttle service information.

What kind of food will there be?

Answer

For the cocktail hour the couple is providing light appetizers and drinks. For dinner they are offering a buffet that will include vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options. Question

Can I take pictures/post things on social media?

Answer

During the ceremony the couple asks that you do not take photos. They have hired a photographer & plan to share the wonderful photos taken by them with everyone. Once the ceremony is over, please feel free to photograph away! And yes-post on social media! Just don't forget to use the hashtag #MikeandTaylorsEpicWedding Why #MikeandTaylorsEpicWedding ? If you follow the couple on social media, you have probably seen some of the couples road trip pictures. Their wedding hashtag is a play off of their road trip hashtag #MikeandTaylorsEpicDetour which is inspired by one of Taylor's favorite books.
