We’ve created this website to help you plan for our big day. You can find all of the need-to-know details right here, including directions to our venue, accommodation recommendations, extra events and activities in the local area, and a little bit about our love story. We are getting married at my family cabin in the beautiful Madison Valley. Due to its proximity to Yellowstone National Park and world-class, fly-fishing rivers, accommodations book up quickly. Please plan accordingly. Thanks so much for all of your love and support. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with all of our favorite people!
We met online and had coffee. For our second date we lost our minds and decided to go camping for three days on the Olympic Peninsula. Both of us thought it was a little crazy. Brett bought a track phone to ensure his safety and I brought bear spray to fend him off. Luckily we didn't need either. Brett was excited to impress me with his tent erecting skills until he "realized I was Bear Grylls." Although it wasn't his outdoor skills he did impress me. The cliche is true. When you know you know, and I knew mere hours into our second date that he was my person. I don't think we slept at all that weekend. We talked about everything and anything. We would go to bed in our separate tents and talk through the walls until the sun came up. We hiked and talked, we swam and talked, we cooked and talked, we played cards and talked. We talked so much I missed the last ferry home and had to sleep in my car! We later joked that there were only three possible outcomes to that trip--married, murdered, or miserable. You all know how it turned out!
