Bryton loves his italian, and this has been the spot for many birthday dinners! If you are in the mood for an amazing lunch, go for the dry ribs and caesar salad... They're to die for!
Rosso Coffee Roasters
Many a coffee dates have been had here! They're mocha and chai latte are a staple of our relationship!
National on 10th
National is our go to spot for nights out! Not only are the drinks and food amazing, but there is a bowling alley downstairs, ping pong tables and foosball tables all over and the vibe is great as well!
Ripe Tomato Pizza
This has to be one of our favorite casual dining spots in town! The firestone pizza is amazing and they also have a great gluten free crust!
Canmore
If you have time while in town, we highly recommend making a trip out to Canmore, Kananaskis or Banff! We love exploring Canmore in particular as it's a little less congested with tourists, but we do also love visiting Banff! Check out Rocky Mountain Bagel Co. for a great breakfast, the Kananskis Nordic Spa, hike Grassi Lakes, try The Grizzly Paw Brewery (great food there) and just get out and see Calgary's beautiful backyard!
The Clothing Bar
If you know Kimberly, you know she loves to shop! This consignment store is frequented at least once a week, and even Bryton makes an appearance...whether he likes it or not! Check out this adorable shop that features previously loved pieces for an AMAZING price...and say hi to the owner Katie for us ;)
Adorn Boutique
Check out another favourite shop of Kimberly's...she worked here in university! Adorn Boutique features the most beautiful clothing, jewellery and other unique items. Again, Bryton spent some time here dropping off his fair share of chai lattes and mochas when she was working away. You'll be sure to find something cute if you pop in here!
Ballet Barre Works
Try out ballet barre at the studio Kimberly teaches at! She likely won't be teaching the weekend of the wedding, but some of the other amazing teachers will definitely show you a good time and a great workout :)
The Park
Bryton and Kimberly love this local eatery, located right around the corner from their first apartment! It has a very European, English decor and features some great food (with plant based and gluten free options)!
Higher Ground Cafe
This is one of the places we will send you to if we are trying to make you move to Calgary...which is all of you who don't already live here. Sit down and enjoy the best London Fog in the city and some of their baked goods or take a hot drink to go and explore the beautiful neighborhood of Kensington. Check out Purr (the clothing store), another consignment shop called the Peacock Boutique, grab a Crave Cupcake (gluten free options available) and then stroll across Memorial to wander around the Bow and the Peace Bridge (lots of instagramable moments down there).
Calgary's Farmers' Market
If you're looking for some good food...and you are vegan, gluten free or just want to try something different, check out the Calgary's Farmers' Market. Fresh picked produce, really cool vendors and some of the best Mexican, Greek and Indian food in the city!
