What is the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

We know that The Gathered is a little outside of Calgary and can make getting to the wedding a bit tricky. We have a few suggestions that will make your travel a breeze! 1. Driving: If you are planning on driving to and from the venue, your best bet, if you are needing directions, is to search "The Gathered" in Google Maps. Apple maps isn't as responsive, but Google maps will get you there perfectly fine! For the traditionalists out there here are the simplest driving directions to the venue. - Drive north on Deerfoot Trail - Take exit 275 onto Highway 566 towards Kathyrn (turn right and head east) - Follow Highway 566 for roughly 20km then turn left onto Range Road 273 and look for the wedding signs! 2. Shuttle: *More details on a shuttle to come. Our hope is to provide an easy and cost effective solution so our guests can enjoy the evening (and a few drinks) and get home safely.

We have children, should we get a babysitter?

Answer

We love you and your children, but this venue isn't the most kid friendly...We suggest you leave your little ones snuggled up at home with a loved one so that you can enjoy your evening without worrying about them in this space!

Is the ceremony and reception located in the same place?

Answer

Yes they are! We are very excited to have our ceremony and our reception at the same location! There will be a bar, lawn games as well as a specialty coffee bar open during a short break between the ceremony and reception.

What is the bar/liquor situation?

Answer

We are SO lucky that this venue allows us to bring our own liquor/alcohol. We will have lots of wine, sparkling beverages, some signature drinks/cocktails and of course, non-alcoholic beverages as well. We will be doing a toonie style bar, with funds going towards our honeymoon fund :)

Are you registered? Where?

Yes! We do not expect gifts, but some of our guests have insisted so we put together a list at a few of our favs! We are registered on Amazon, Crate and Barrel and Bed Bath and Beyond

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking all our guests to RSVP before July 1st 2019

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes there sure is :) We also have directions listed in our travel section and will have small signs on the road to help you get to the venue!
