Bryan and Calley both moved to the Englewood area around the same time, but never met. Thanks to Bumble, however, they had their first date on Halloween 2021 in Downtown Englewood! They were both so nervous that they ordered Stella Artois at One Barrel Wine Bar (neither of them even like Stella Artois, evidently), then continued their evening at Aki Japanese Cuisine (because sushi is a great first date meal). Bryan and Calley knew immediately that they had found something special in each other, and the rest is history!

Bryan and Calley love to hike, so what better way to get engaged than in the stunning Cascades outside of Seattle? Bryan, with the help of his cousin, Jaclyn, painstakingly planned out the perfect mountain proposal. In true Seattle fashion, the weather shifted from sunny and 80 to rainy and 50, but that didn't stop Bryan from finding a gorgeous sub-alpine lake to pop the question. With the mountain mist as their witness, Bryan got down on one knee and Calley said "Yes" to forever.
