Where is the wedding?

We are excited for you to join us at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Washington D.C.!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 6pm so we ask that you arrive no later 5:45pm to ensure we get the festivities going on time! Please note that the Willard is in downtown DC, so if you are driving, we recommend leaving at least 30 minutes of time to navigate DC traffic and parking.

What is the dress code?

Come looking your best! We request that you dress Black tie optional.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will be held indoors within the Willard though you are always welcome to enjoy the views outside!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The Spring can be a bit variable in DC, but the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom! You can expect temperatures to be in the 60s (high)/ 40s (low) Fahrenheit or 18.5 (high)/ 8 (low) Celsius.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

The wedding is in the heart of the city, so there are lots of options for how to get to the Willard. If you are staying at one of our hotel blocks, the Willard is a short walk no more than 2 blocks away. If you are arriving via your own vehicle, there is valet parking at the hotel. You may also ride share (Uber/Lyft) from nearly anywhere. If you are feeling adventurous, you may also take the Metro Red Line and exit at Metro Center via the F Steet exit and walk 2 blocks to the Willard.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your kids! We really do! We tried our best to be able to accommodate the small humans but couldn't make it work. Though we will miss the little tykes, we are excited for you to join us!

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We will be serving drinks and small hors d'ouevres during our cocktail hour after the ceremony followed by a full seated dinner at the reception.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely! Let the champagne flow!

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes! Though there are many options for accommodations in the city (including hotels and airbnbs), we have room blocks for you with links and more information in our "Travel" section.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence is the greatest gift of all! We are incredibly grateful and overjoyed that you are taking the time to travel for our celebration. Sharing this special day with you is more than we could ask for. However, if you should honor us with a gift, you may contribute to our honeymoon fund to St. Lucia. Please see our "Gifts" section for more information.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

We are so excited to share the weekend with you! In addition to the wedding, there will be a Sunday Brunch at the Willard the next morning from 10am-12pm. Details can be seen in the "Schedule" tab.

Yes! We would love to see our special day through the eyes of our favorite people, though we ask for your help with ensuring our photographer also gets wonderful shots of us!
