We are so honored to have you celebrate with us at the magnificent Saint Patrick Church in Erie, Pennsylvania — the oldest parish in the diocese, with roots stretching back to 1837. Widely regarded as the most cherished setting for weddings in the region, Saint Patrick's underwent a complete and meticulous restoration between 2010 and 2012, bringing new life to its timeless beauty. Among the church's most breathtaking treasures are its stunning stained glass windows and rare 3D Stations of the Cross, masterfully crafted in Munich, Germany and brought to Erie. It is believed that only two complete sets of these extraordinary Stations of the Cross exist in the entire world. Semi-Formal: Suits and gowns are welcome, and so is cocktail attire.

The main entrance to Saint Patrick Church is located on East 4th Street. Guests will find ample parking on the south side of the church, as well as a smaller lot on the east side — to your right when facing the front doors from the street. Both parking areas are accessible from East 3rd Street and Holland Street. Please note that out of respect for the sacred space, flash photography is not permitted inside Saint Patrick Church. Additionally, due to the layout of the front entrance, a traditional receiving line will not be held — but Steve and Shelley look forward to celebrating with you personally at the reception! There's approximately a 3-hour gap between the ceremony and reception — a perfect opportunity to explore Erie! Check out our Things To Do page for local recommendations. If you're looking for a bite to eat, two great nearby spots are Rum Runners, a fantastic waterfront restaurant right on Presque Isle Bay, and Calamari's Squid Row, a local favorite on State Street.

Get ready for an evening to remember! The Garden Atrium & Terrace at the Ambassador Banquet & Conference Center is a breathtaking setting bathed in natural light beneath a soaring glass atrium, creating an airy, garden-like atmosphere that feels both elegant and enchanting. A serene Koi pond, charming gazebo, and private outdoor terrace add to the magic, blending the beauty of nature with the warmth of a stunning indoor space. Parking is complimentary at the Ambassador Center. The property features multiple entrances to the reception halls, so feel free to enter through whichever is most convenient for you — including the main lobby entrances to the Courtyard Marriott and Hilton Garden Inn. Once inside, follow the signage to the Garden Atrium & Terrace.
