Newport Cliff Walk
Walk the path along the coastline for incredible views of the water and Newport mansions! The beginning of the trail is at 1st Beach and Memorial Boulevard and there are numerous exit spots along the way. There are metered parking spots on the hill below the entrance to the Cliff Walk or parking spots in the 1st Beach parking lot for a fee.
Second Beach
Spend some time at this beautiful, family friendly beach in Middletown! According to Newport Discovery Guide, daily parking costs $10 on weekdays and $20 on weekends and holidays. There is a concession stand, bathrooms, changing area, showers, grills, picnic tables, and shade structures located at the main building. Port-a-johns are located at the base of each pathway.
Newport Mansions
Visit the Newport Mansions on Bellevue Avenue for tours of the homes where America's wealthiest families summered during the 19th century! The Rosecliff Mansion was featured in several films, including The Great Gatsby, True Lies, Amistad and 27 Dresses. Visit the Preservation Society of Newport County's website to purchase tickets in advance, or you can buy them when you get there.
International Tennis Hall of Fame
Visit the International Tennis Hall of Fame website for additional information regarding tours! The museum is self-guided or there are guided tours at 11 AM and 2 PM.
Newport Harbor Shuttle
The Newport Harbor Shuttle is a great option for seeing Newport's sights! Spend $12 for an adult ticket for a one hour harbor loop on the water with six stops around Newport Harbor. Visit the website for additional information regarding the shuttle's schedule.
