FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding is Semi-Formal Garden Attire. Think: light-colored suits, floral prints, or pastel dresses, and practical footwear (e.g., wedges or block heels) to navigate grass comfortably.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible of course! If you would like a deadline, we are asking to have your answer by April 24th.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are a blessing and of course welcome, although we are aware that it is an evening wedding. If you feel confident your family will have a fun, late night then all are welcome! Please let us know in the RSVP if your child(ren) will be attending as they will count for final numbers.

Question

I have a food allergy, who do I notify?

Answer

Being that Brooklyn has Celiac Disease, we know all about allergens. Please alert us on anything and everything dietary through email. With ample notice, we can be sure that there is something you can enjoy.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please visit the travel tab on this website for information on where we have reserved a block of rooms for you to book. The Reservation is under "Armstrong Gathye Wedding" at the Peregrine Hotel in downtown Omaha.

Question

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Answer

For those staying at the Peregrine Hotel, there will be a shuttle to and from the venue. Please see the transportation page for more details.

Question

Is there parking for the wedding venue?

Answer

There is parking for 60 vehicles, it is a grass area with no lines and we will try to have someone directing at first. Please park cautiously knowing that we have many guests.

Question

Is there parking at The Peregrine?

Answer

Yes. There is a paid parking garage connected to the hotel that you may park yourself or valet your car. If you are renting a vehicle, please let us know at least 1 week in advance of your arrival. We have access to passes that make it cheaper to park, but have to know how many cars to expect.
