FAQs

Question

Is the wedding ceremony on a beach?

Answer

Yes! So plan footwear accordingly. We will have a runner along the sand for anyone wearing stilettos but, you know, good luck.

Question

What does 'Beach Formal' mean?

Answer

Formal, but fun! Think normal formal attire but with summer suits, breathable fabric, and touches of tropical elements or lighter colors. For ladies, a dress, suit, or jumpsuit all work. Since stilettos are a hazard on the sand, wear a chunky heel or formal sandals. For guys, wear either a suit or a long-sleeved shirt and tie with a jacket and slacks. Dress shoes or a nice pair of shoes that compliment the slacks. Just wear whatever you feel best in. I'm sure we'll agree!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking for RSVPs by July 1st but we know that's early and it's a busy time of year. If you're not sure of your schedule, just send us an email.

Question

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Parents night out! We are asking for everyone to leave their kids at home for this event. We hope you understand. If you're traveling from out of town and would still like to bring everyone to the Cape, reach out to Brooke or I and we'll help connect you with some Cape Cod nannying services for the big night.

Question

What time should I arrive to the beach for the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking everyone to arrive before 5pm so we can begin the ceremony promptly at 5. There is a beach bar near the ceremony so come early and grab a drink while you wait!

Question

How can I get in touch about wedding business without complicating the close personal bond we share?

Answer

Glad you asked. Feel free to send all wedding correspondence to brookeandsky22@gmail.com.
