Big Sur Lodge

Nestled in the Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, Big Sur Lodge features 90 rooms. This venue offers the most rooms in Big Sur and likely many of our wedding guests will stay here. There is excellent hiking and access to the Big Sur River from the Lodge. We will be providing a shuttle service to/from Big Sur Lodge the night of our wedding.

Fernwood Resort and Campground

Three miles upstream from the Big Sur River Inn and adjacent to Pf, Fernwood Resorts features a 12 room motel, camping, tent cabins, and glamping. We love Fernwood and actually got engaged just upstream of Fernwood along the Banks of the Big Sur River. Fernwood also features the most popular bar in Big Sur. We will be providing shuttle service to/from Fernwood the night of our wedding.

Deetjen’s Big Sur Inn

Listed on the National Register of Histroic Places, Deetjen’s is rustic and unique featuring hand-built Norwegian cabins, constructed between 1936 and 1961. Nestled in the scenic beauty of nature, these rustic rooms showcase intricate details and traditional Norwegian style design. The Inn offers a retreat from modern distractions–no TV, Wi-Fi, or cell service. We will be providing shuttle service to/from Deetjen's the night of our wedding.

Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park Campground

Pfeiffer features 189 RV and tent sites situated on or near the Big Sur River. Bookings fill up six months in advance so if you plan on camping here. We recommend booking really early in the morning (like 12:01 am) 6 months prior or even consider trying to book a day or two early of your desired dates to give yourself the best chance to get a campsite. There are a number of hotels and motels in the Carmel area. Carmel is 28 miles and ~40 mins from the wedding venue.
