We also recommend arriving on the island AT LEAST A DAY BEFORE THE CEREMONY!! **Make sure you are flying to the BELIZE CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!** From the airport, you can EITHER take a SMALL PLANE to the John Greif II Airport on the island... *OR* You can take a quick TAXI RIDE to the WATER TAXI TERMINAL and from there it is a 90 MINUTE FERRY RIDE to the island! ***WE RECOMMEND TAKING THE WATER TAXI!!*** Once you arrive on the island, Ramon's Village Resort (we recommend booking as close to this hotel as possible) offers a complimentary and quick shuttle ride from the Water Taxi Terminal to the resort if you are staying there too! Most hotels in the area offer complimentary shuttle rides from the ferry terminal to the hotels. The shuttle ride is about 3 minutes, or you can enjoy the 8 minute walk to the resort r your hotel of choice if you'd prefer! Either way, the hotel is very close! If you choose a different hotel, please consult a map and pick one as close to Ramon's Village Resort as possible! This will make group planning and your timely arrival for celebrations as well as the ceremony much easier.
