What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The bar will be open an hour before the ceremony starts at 4:30pm. We politely ask our guests to be seated at least 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. The bar will stop serving 15 minutes before the ceremony to ensure everyone is seated.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, of course! We will have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options available for food, and all special food allergies or restrictions can be sent to the brides before the wedding day.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. While Little Kings is a dive bar, we respectfully ask our guests to dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire. No jeans. October weather in Georgia is unpredictable, so it's a good idea to bring a jacket.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Downtown Athens has metered spaces located all around the downtown area. There are also two parking garages, one located just a couple blocks away on Washington St. We highly encourage our guests who will be drinking to take Uber or Lyft to and from the ceremony. If you need to leave your car overnight, Athens does not charge parking fees on Sundays. Please be aware that the AthHalf 5k race is happening at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 22nd on Hancock Ave. There will also be a road closure between Hull and Pulaski for a Pagan street festival. There should be ample parking available in the blocks surrounding Little Kings, but we highly suggest our guests consider Uber or Lyft.
